how do you wake up

when the alarm goes off do you slowing roll over and gently turn it off then lay there for a second before getting up? or

Do you jump out of bed like you've been stuck with a cattle prod, hit the thing so hard your surprised it doesn't break, and then stand there with your heart beating out of your chest?

I do the cattle prod thing... every single time. Its like im afraid im late or something. Even if I wake up 15,20 minutes before it goes off and say, well I will sleep a little bit longer I still do it. I cant be in deep sleep so im not sure why I do that.

Also, do you wake up to music or the beep, beep, beep?

I do the beep, beep, beep.. Maybe I should change to music. nah, sure enough something I hate would be playing and that would be it for the alarm clock.

Since I have been sleeping in the recliner (Jimmie is sleeping on Ashelyn's twin size mattress in the floor of our bedroom, our king size mattress is in our kitchen..) I set my cell phone alarm for 7:00am and one of many ringtones on different days. I always jump up though ~ if I don't get up when it goes off, I won't get up at all!

I'm envisioning my own alarm clock fright

I get up to the beep, beep, beep sound because I know I'll hate it enough to just get up and not be able to go back to sleep. I have mine set where I get up 15 minutes before my youngest so I can enjoy my coffee(programmable coffee makers rock!) and a smoke. Those that do not drink coffee severely underestimate a coffee drinker's first cup of coffee.

Hubby wakes up to music(dual alarms on our alarm clock) and keeps hitting snooze until he had to rush around and out the door. I'd hate that. I'd be perpetually grumpy

I get up jumping up although I don't know why. I have no one I need to get up for. Also the dogs get me up sometimes. No alarm or music. :)

That reminds me ~ we have a dual alarm clock also. Sounds exactly the same, but when Jimmie's goes off I do not wake up. It amazes him. He says I don't even budge. Even when there is only 30 minutes difference. He has went in the bathroom and come back in the bedroom to watch me when my alarm goes off 30 minutes later ~ drives him nuts~lol!

we each have our own alarm clocks and I never, ever hear my husbands and he never, ever hears mine.

DH has a battery alarm clock because he doesn't trust the electric ones. With the power going out sometimes they don't go off. He gets up at 4 so I rarely hear his alarm going off.

lol I like this question.. Well lately I've been having to get up really early. At like 5 in the morning, because of my babysitting job.
So basically the alarm goes off, I push sleep most of the time. Go back to sleep for 5 mins. Then jump up realizing I need to get up. Get dressed, sit at the computer, and eat breakfast (half asleep) and wait for the cute baby to get here.
Then when he takes a nap. I take a nap!!

Now my daughter and my husband are the funniest when waking up. My daughter...usually wakes up, running to the bathroom, before she has an accident. My husband usually takes him 3 hours to wake up and get out of bed. Its really hard to wake up rocky

I have to get up to walk across the room and turn off the alarm or I will go back to sleep. I then, walk in and tell the kids to get up and get ready, walk to the bathroom and sit on the toilet trying to keep from falling asleep there too. I hate mornings because, I have insomnia and don't get much sleep.

I sleep wrapped around my husabnd. He doesn't mind.

I have a radio that starts off soft adn gets louder. I get up rather easily

David isn't easy to get up. He has thrown the radio on the floor a few times. NOT a morning person

I wake up my daughter singing every morning. I rub my sons backs to get them up just like my mom did for me.

Hopefully, tho when teh boys are teens, they wont' throw the covers over their head and scream at me "GO AWAY" like I did to my mom

Usually being beaten by my coonhound who has to go out! Seriously, he bats me with his paws until I get up. My husband doesn't believe me when I tell him where the bruises come from.

I get up between 6-6:30...my husband usually gets up first and turns the computer on...Then I get up shortly after and make him chai and get my coffee ready...I like getting up early because I get a lot done in the early morning....

I used to have a dog like that. He would hit me with his paws or get right in my face and breath his stinking dog breath in my face until I got up.

whats chai? I get up early also. around 4 am.. just to do my instants, get a pot of coffee in me and make the kids their lunches.. I get them up around 6:30.. That way im awake, caffeinated and ready to hear wheres my.... whatever.. I cant find my shoes!.. He is looking at me!.. I can take it all in stride.

Chai tea I believe.

Thank the Lord that my kids get up at different times and catch the bus at different times. Coffee or not I couldn't take the "he's looking at me and laughing" or any such bull manure. I'm all about getting the morning off on the right foot and a good start that I would probably have a BF if that happened.

all three of mine ride the same bus.. The school is kinda weird.. its all three in one basically. elementary, junior high and high school.. one building right after the other all connected.. Its small. I think last year the graduating high school class was under 50 students. They have the junior and senior proms together because there just aren't enough students to have them separately.

Our schools are small like that. 3 separate buildings-elementary on one side of the road and the jr. high and hs across the street. Graduating class is probably the same size or a tad bigger.

Well, this morning I woke up to flatulence. Really loud flatulence and it wasn't mine. It smelled as if someone let off a stink bomb in my bedroom. I wasn't thrilled to say the least. My guys decided to see who could let the biggest one loose. I'm thinking of taking on a 3rd job. It's either that or buying a lock for my bedroom door.

They will still find a way in...or just sit outside whining and drive you nuts...'Mommmmmmmmmmmm ~ what are you doing in there............'! You still wouldn't get any peace, but your nose might!
