On the daily contest is it you have to wait until the time you enter it or you can enter agin the next day after midnight.

on the 24 hour sweeps it is, but on the daily it is after midnight and most state eastern time but some state other times like central or pacific
 
Watch with those 24-hour ones. Some are once every 24 hours exactly or once every 24-hour day which is the same as a daily. However, both 24-hour descriptions get posted under the same 24-hour category under "New Sweepstakes". Just check the rules to check which it is.
 
I live in Cali and it kinda of sucks for me because if I enter after 9pm (Cali Time)... It will not let me enter the next day, it will say "sorry only 1 entry per day and we have recorded an entry for you today",,, something along those lines.... So for me I try not to sweep in the evenings for this reason alone....
 
for the 24 hr ones that are exactly 24 hours the note comes in handy.. I put in the exact time I enter them using the note feature and it saves me from trying to remember or wasting my time by trying to enter to soon. There really arent that many of those though.

As Lee stated, it depends on the sweeps & your time zone - like champ, I'm on PST, and most sweeps are on EST, so I have to enter before 9pm my time, and can enter again after 9pm if I want to.

If a sweeps is on a different time zone than EST, or behaves like it is, even though the rules state EST, usually one of us will post about it in the COMMENTS under that particular sweeps.

And as LDS noted, a true 24 hr sweeps will be in the 24 hr category :)
 
Disney, ESPN and other Go.com sites start at 3:00 pm EST. That is one that you know is "weird" for a lack of a better word.

Most sweeps go by EST. There are a few on Eprize that seem to start later like 1 but I think that's because they are in Central Time. There is only one or two but I can't remember which ones right now.
