have decided that looking forward to voting in the food feud, excited to see what the new cards are on classic heartland and missing the clorox and wholly gucamole games are signs i am getting to wrapped up in sweeping.some days it seems its all i get done!!takes 5-6 hrs out of my day but i love that winning screen and that email..just waiting for that fed ex letter :sunny:

But but ladecajun - this IS the life!!! :headbang:

No outlay of $$$ {beyond cable bill & stamps} like with the lottery/scratch offs/gambling - just time! And if you've got it, it's better used entering to win than reading a blog, or watching funny animal videos, lol!!!

Amy you are soooooo right! This is the life! With the economy, crime, crappy daytime tv, and gas prices entering sweepstakes is the best way to spend your day! Like you said all it costs is the price of you ISP and a few stamps if you go for an occasional snail mail sweeps. What could be better?

judge - I'm spoiled - I DVR and only watch live TV when DH is home/up {he works a rotating shift} and he likes the Pawn Stars/Ghost Hunters type shows, which are OK, so it's all good.

Most tv blows - as do movies - I'd rather read a book!!!

I am disabled and have the time to enter all day, but I can see how those who have jobs/small children could feel a tad guilty spending so much time on sweeping.

Don't feel bad! You are NOT alone! LOL

You could call me disabled too. I have severe COPD from years of smoking. I can't cry about it, I did it to myself and I have adjusted. I don't go out much so I sit and enter sweeps. I don't see how people with jobs and kids do it! I remember how busy I was when my kids were home and I was working ... and there wasn't even internet then!

 I have been doing this so long that I have nearly forgotten what life was like before online sweeping! I seem to recall always having a nice clean house and spending lots of time outdoors. I don't however recall ever getting tons of great stuff delivered to my house that wasn't paid for or ordered. I don't have any family here and no kids at home. I do work a part time job so at least I do get out of the house. Would I trade this for something else? I highly doubt it.

LOL -- Love this! I remember when my house was cleaner too...Not that long ago! haha  :crazytongue:

I got hooked about 4 years ago - I work a full time plus job, but my office is in my house and I am about a 4 - 5 hour a night sleeper. Many mornings I go to work in my robe. I consider this my parttime job that I do not have to leave, wear makeup or expensive clothes to do. My house was definately cleaner before this became part of my life, but I am in a job that is controled by the economy and sweeping paid for all my groceries plus other goodies 3 years ago when things were really ugly in the trucking industry. It help save my sanitiy and kept me from falling into a deep depression - as when you win it gives you that great natural high and something to look forward to. I know I don't post as often as I should, I do read the comments everyday and feel as if I have a great bunch of new friends who share the same passion that I have.

It's been a nice little hobby and got me some things that are good "extras", presents for others, or recreational things -- very worth it! Now need some $$. LOL

 judge  I'm close to that too - I've tried quitting so many ways over the years, and can see my future on this, but I'm a total failure at quitting. :nono: :cussing:

When I was younger, I found that the more I did, the more I could do when I was active duty with a baby - I was on 3 volleyball teams and bowled in a lunch league!!!

When my back kept me from doing those things, and the Dr told me I'd have to change my lifestyle, I fought it for as long as I could, but finally had to accept my limits.

Everything in life is a tradeoff - seems some of us are willing to give up keeping a totally spic & span house to try to win something, :crazytongue: while some of us are doing what we can to contribute to the household, since keeping up with the housework is an impossibility!!! :crazytongue:
