I really NEED to win!

I would love to win! I NEED the money so bad!!! I recently lost my house and living in my car! I would do anything to win a little!

Good luck. But coming from a guy who loves sweeps, spend less time sweeping and more time job hunting. This is for your leisure time...your job now is to find a job!!

I love the above post it's so true but it has me thinking..is the automated sweepstakes service where it enters for you worth it? thanks to anyone that wants to reply. :booty"

Greenwaldt,

I moved your post here from the Winner's Circle and I sent you a pm.

There is a special thread called The Whiner's Wall (for wishing and complaining) where you can post:

Also, you may want to read the Newbies forum, especially Tips and Advice:

Sweeping is a hobby and there is no guarantee that anyone will win. Lots of people sweep and are happy when they win, but it is like something extra. Hope you are seriously looking into other ways to cover basic needs.

unless this person enters sweeps thru another site, I think we are being scammed. If you check this persons stats they have been a member of SA since mid April and have spent 2 min online. sounds like they signed up, sign out then came back 3 weeks later to make their statement about needing a win. (hopefully they don't think by being a member of SA they are automatically entered into alot of sweeps).

Judge - if the OP posted specifics {I need X, you can send it to me here} or something like that, I'd be inclined to agree.

I think your 2nd supposition is probably closer to the mark "(hopefully they don't think by being a member of SA they are automatically entered into alot of sweeps)." and since arrtup3 is helping them out, they'll soon see this is a hobby, not an income stream :)

As do I - but then it would turn into drudgery, if like a job, you HAD to enter on someone else's time frame :crazytongue:

Great point! Always remember that sweeping is a fun hobby, not a job. If you start thinking of it as a job, then it's like Harry Chapin said:
"You start out to do you best, but end up just doing time."
