I think i am ready to give up

I'm taking a break lately because of time demands, but will get back to it soon. Little prizes are still arriving during my break.

Whenever I want to take a break I get something in the mail and I start up on it again. I got a free sample of the new burberry cologne and it just reminds me to get back at it. I do the expiring 1x and new sweeps everyday... Entering only 20 sweeps a day. I don't know how you guys do the instants and dailys. I don't want to get burnt out so I just do the big stuff.

I have lots of time on hand too, but find my back and neck aches even with different chairs and positioning.

Maybe i need a really long break but its been hard to snap the addiction. I say i`ll take a week off and i keep entering. But really dont have the wins to keep me enthused.

I used to stress if I missed a day, so I'd push myself and pay for it. :nono: Then I started taking off Sundays {I live in Las Vegas and that's my day out :laughing: } and when I realized it was no biggie to miss that day, I decided that entering every day was no longer my #1 priority and it was OK to miss 1, 2, or even more days a week.

When I feel up to it, I enter, and since physically, I am where you are zentrade, I really relate to what you are saying!!!

Also, I just {last Tuesday} had to have an infected tooth pulled (and I was awake!!! :cussing: I'm too sick {walking pneumonia? :scratch:} to get knocked out so that was painful!!!

I haven't been at this as long as you, but when I realized it was all a matter of timing {for IW's} and getting in at least 1 entry for any given sweeps since I've won an unlimited with just one entry, I rinse and repeat {all together now}:

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing.

Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:
