Thanks again to everyone that responded with my original quandary. I heard back from Pop2Life and got my questions answered. To make a long story short, I won a trip to Vegas for the iheartradio sweepstakes Musical Festival! Here are the details:

Contest: iHeartRadio Music Festival Sweepstakes

  • [li]Two (2) tickets for winner and one (1) guest to attend the "iHeartRadio Music Festival" in Las Vegas, NV;[/li]
    [li]Round-trip domestic airfare for winner and one (1) guest to destination - Las Vegas, NV;[/li]
    [li]Two (2) nights standard hotel accommodations at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, NV, or a comparable hotel determined at the sole discretion of the Prize Provide;[/li]
    [li]Travel package must be scheduled for September 21 through September 23, 2012, other dates not valid.[/li]

Pop2Life is a legitimate website for a company that does Marketing and Promotion (i.e. ePrize et al). They provided you with an email address for questions. They even promote the iHeartRadio Pool party on the home page. Always good to be cautious with personal information, just don't be so quick to call something a scam. Enjoy your trip.

thanks for the info. Just for clarification, I wasn't assuming it was a scam nor was I assuming it wasn't. I was hoping for others to provide further insight as to whether or not they believed it was a scam.

I have emailed them, as I indicated in my original post. Hopefully I'll get some awesome news :o) Thanks again for your response.

I couldn't dig up pop2life's promotion on SA either but they are a real marketing company.

It's a bit fishy that it came from the address noreply@Pop2Life.com ... usually their team would want to monitor their fulfillment e-mails, right?

If your web browser has the option, right-click on the "click HERE to get started", and select "Copy link address" (google chrome) / "Copy link location" (fire fox)... I don't think Internet Explorer has this option.
Then go to http://safeweb.norton.com/
And paste in the link to see if the URL is safe to visit.

Also, you can contact Dan Severs 866-767-2533 x704 • [email protected] -- he's their contact listed for the sweeps above.

Just my thoughts. Hopefully you have a trip!

Usually there is an affidavit attached to print out and mail back with a notary stamp if it asks for your social.

Soo exciting!! my questions for the potential winner: I read the ruled link posted here....(please don't feel you have to answer publicly)....but do you live in california as stated here? and these rules say this particular contest is not over until September 1st, so maybe it is a different sponsor with a similar prize. In any case...do your detective work and then hopefully it is a great win for you!

Big thanks to everyone who replied!

I'm always cautious with "winning claims" since there are unfortunately a lot of scammers out there. For each sweep I enter, I always read the rules to make sure I'm eligible. However, I enter too many to remember each and every one I've entered so I wasn't sure about this one.

For now I know that this is a legitimate win, I just don't know which contest it was since Pop2Life is distributing prizes for many of the IHeartRadio Music Festival contests. I've sent them an email asking for some more details and for the name of the promotion that I won this through so I can reread the rules to decide whether or not to accept. Going through my Google History, I actually think I figured out which sweepstakes it is but want to be sure. I'll post more details once I have confirmed some things.

I received the exact same email last evening and had the same concerns as you. I have since confirmed that the prize email is legitimate and have indeed won the trip to Las Vegas! This was a facebook sweeps sponsored by Dish Network. The lady at Pop2Life apologized for not having sent out an initial email stating that I had won. There were 20 grand prizes for this sweeps that expired on Aug.15. I feel sure that you are another of the 20. Congratulations and maybe we will see you there!

Glad I wasn't alone in the concern department. I received a similar email from someone at Pop2Life with an apology for not having sent out winning notifications. I haven't confirmed just yet but will later today once my time off of work has been cleared.

I suppose I should offer you my congratulations as well! Maybe we'll see each other out there? :)
 
I am so jealous! Country Music and Vegas - two of my favorite things! I have entered every iHeartRadio Music Festival trip I could find, but so far, no wins! Congratulations! I hope you have a wonderful time!!!! :wave:
