I'm a newbie here. I used to use online-sweepstakes.com, but I didn't think it was right to have to pay $30 to get the "premium contests". How does this site compare. Are the "premium" sweeps from OLS listed here? Is there a fee for this site? How does this site compare?

1. SA to my knowledge posts their own sweeps.... SA does not copy anything from zzz let-alone any other sites. They have professionals who search for us and only posts the legit sweeps to enter. You will find that SA has just as many sweeps if not more that zzz listed on a daily basis.

The main thing I have noticed about this site is that I actually win over here. If you notice many people who come over suddenly find themselves to be big winners, where they had only been winning a few instants before. I have no idea why this is. :scratch: From a wins viewpoint, exile is the best thing that ever happened to me! :sunny:

I have been a member here for years and while I have never seen ols's 'premium' sweeps I have heard that we have a lot of the very same ones for free. I know that there are some good people over there, but there is also a lot of drama, so I like staying over here and saving my $30.00. I have met some of my best friends on here and I look forward to the time I spend on here everyday!! I hope you have the same feelings for SA before long :) We are just a bunch of goofballs, so come on and join in the fun!
 
When I had been gifted with a premium over there and also a member here, I pretty much saw the same exact sweepstakes listed here. Lately, ZZZ has been slipping quite a bit. They are missing more and more and posting some later and later. This site has grown tremendously and has many former members from the other site. That equates to even more sweeps being submitted than ever before. There are also far more features here than over there, and SA doesn't suffer site problems like at ZZZ whenever he does those so-called upgrades! :laughing:

Yep, i started sweeping again n march, i have a few sites I visit. I bought a 3 month membership at ZZZZ (I think we are talking about the same one). I just had to see what I was missing!! Well, not a thing, like others here have said, SA has the SAME sweeps free!!! So I won't be renewing. SA has about all there is out there!!

I was there almost 2 years, and was a premium member, and SA has not only the SAME sweeps they hide from the "regular/non-premium" members, but SA has has FAR superior sweeps tools!!! :headbang:

My Sweepstakes: A place to keep sweeps you've selected to enter. Just log in, then click | Add to My Sweepstakes | to change it to | Remove from My Sweepstakes | and click Save my Sweepstakes or refresh the page if you have pop ups allowed at SA.

Once in My Sweepstakes you can access/utilize the following tools:

Broken Link: if you find a mistake [wrong url, etc] or the sweeps ended early, report and it will be quickly updated.

Personal Sweepstakes Notes: A place to put notes to a sweeps that only YOU can see!!! PERFECT for anything that is only of importance to YOU!!!

Post/View Comment: notes EVERONE can see - we share tips/UPC's/trivia/etc. And let each other know if there is a problem with a sweeps - no more searching to see if it's only you/your comp!!!

To get email notifications when a member posts a comment, just Click Watch to change it to UnWatch - no need to search!!!

Remind Me: perfect for odd running sweeps like weekly/monthly/qtrly/etc. Used in conjunction with Notes and SweepsCheck it makes keeping track so much easier!!!

I am a newbie too! I considered myself to have started really sweeping six weeks ago. But for two weeks prior to that I did the free membership over there. I won nothing and was confused. I wondered where the big name instant wins were and stumbled upon this site a few weeks later. I am so glad I did I can't believe how much better it is over here. I love it. Thanks by the way, to the people who set this up!!! Also to Amy Shulk. You are so nice and helpful!

How many contests per day to most of you average entering? I really was never sure that anyone actually won most of these contests, I am glad to see your posts. Happy sweeping.

I think it really varies.. some enter less than 100 a day and win while others like myself enter 400-500 a day or more. around 500 is all I can do. Some people enter a lot more than that though. Just enter as many as you have time for. I spend a few hours a day. off and on. I cant do it all at once. I might be able to if I stayed out of the forums. :laughing:
 
Right now, I am not entering nothing...so I am winning nothing...we are remodeling the house and I am using it as an excuse to slack..........

Anywho...still come to the forums and harass, I mean, talk to my friends!

And as 3m notes, you can't really tell by what others do - there are just too many variables!!!

And if you haven't seen this yet {everyone who has, groan & roll your eyes... NOW, lmao!!!}

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: :crazytongue: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!
