I'm new to Sweepstaking.

Hello, my name is Torben and I am brand new to sweep-staking. I have never entered and won a sweepstake but I hope this site will help me win some!

I'm 16 years old so I understand there are surely quite a few sweepstakes I can't enter do to age restrictions but I would still like to use the site.

I am also wondering if this site is still active, it concerns me that the last post in this sub forum was made in September. But if it is I really hope some people can help me get started. I have read the "How to use the *TOOLS* to get the most out of SA Features" and I have watched the introduction video (full version).

Please help me get started, thank you! And I really hope to see some posts! :sunny:

Turns out I was looking at an old stickied topic when I saw the September post. Sorry, that gives me an extra moral boost knowing this site is still active.

I am wondering, how does sweep-staking work though? I understand you sign up and basically just hope that you win. But are there any tricks of the trade?

You say you have already entered a ton of sweeps. I hope you are doing it right! Remember, this is a sweeps listing site, not one that enters you in the sweeps. When you find a sweeps you want to enter you must click on the link, go to the entry form, fill out the form and submit. Some people new to this site thought all they had to do was click the sweeps check box next to the sweeps they wanted to enter and **poof**, they were entered. I just didn't want you to think you were entered in something when you weren't. I wish you all the luck in the world winning sweeps! :)
 
Ha ha no, I watched the introduction video. I've just been dedicated. I also clicked on one of the sweepstakes and it showed me twenty others that I could use the same info on just by clicking on them, that was a sweet deal.

Thank you for alerting me just in case though! It is highly appreciated.

Is there any specific order of daily activities people have? If so would you mind sharing yours?

Make sure you read and follow the rules, especially the age restriction, so you are eligible to enter and not wasting time.

You can set your signature. Go to your profile, then "modify profile," and "forum profile information." You will see a box where you can set your signature.

The Sweeper's Credo:

Enter and forget it.

Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.

If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!

I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

So hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - and you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!
