I'm really stressed out

We are starting to have bad money problems. Because we moved into our new house, we had to transfer everything, and had alot of bills charge fees and things for it. Plus now I have to pay $200 a month for mortgage, because instead of $795, its 1,000.
Well I haven't been able to get a job, and my dad doesn't have much work for me. Well i've been stressing today. And decided to look in our bank account, see if there was any extra money in there.
Guess what... if things couldn't get any worse, there is $75 in fees in our account that we owe by Sept 22. Rocky over spent on some things. Plus the bank said they sent us a letter, and it was mailed back to them, so we didn't provide the right address, so they charged us a $5 fee.
I don't use that account, rocky does. But hes having a hard enough time coming up with all the other bills. I don't know what to do. Just felt like whining for a while.

Hey tiff whine away and I won't give you any advice because you didn't ask for any  I can tell you this too shall pass. Things have a way of getting worked out. I have been where you are before and who knows I could be there again. Try not to stress out too much. Worrying won't change anything.

((Hugs)) I am very sorry for all you are going through. Hang in there, jobs are scarce in a lot of areas right now. I wish good things in the near future for you.

If anything worse could happen..... A hurricane is heading are way!!! We live in jacksonville fl. So prayers please. We never had a bad hurricane, as far as I can remeber. So I'm actually kind of scared of this one. We are going to stay at my moms house though. So thats good, there house is a two story brick house. Probably a lot safer. School has been cancelled for tommorrow and thursday. Kailey is sad. lol She loves school. Imagine a kid that is sad school is cancelled.
We will probably lose power wed night or thursday. So if you don't see me on, I'm probably flying in the sky with the hurricane. lol jk

Well I am slowing calming down. 2 awesome things happened. 1. Rocky talked to the bank, and they took $37 off the amount we owe. So we only owe $30 something now, instead of $75. Whoo hooo. Also my mom said she would help pay for kaileys lunch the rest of this month, until I start working more. So that would help a lot. Thank you God for my parents, they do a lot of things for us. I could never in a million years pay my mom back for everything she has ever done for me. She is a great mom.

Well thanks all for letting me whine, I guess I'm done whinning now. lol :crazytongue:

:sunny: So happy to hear that things are working themselves out. Studies say that 90% of the things people worry about never happen. Although the way things are today everyone is concerned with finances.
On another note, check with the local school system and see if they have any openings, perhaps in the lunchroom, playground or teaching assistants. Also check this out:

I'm confident they you will find something perfect for you soon! Hang in there and spend your free time scouting for that perfect job!

Glad to hear you feel better :) I am the same way with my girls. As long as I have a home I will help my girls. That's what parents do. At least the good ones anyways. Now my mom would be one of those bad parents  and she did stay with my dad but only to get his medical insurance. I think all us kids would have been better off if they had divorced but that's another story and one that's long over with.

You're very lucky to have such supportive parents. Be sure and let them know that you appreciate them. My dh and I are in the same boat, only we haven't written bad checks...yet. We learned out lesson the hard way. I mean 30 to the store, 35 to the bank for NSF makes that @20 check a REAL expenditure.

It's the stupid debit card. I don't even use that account. ONly Rocky does. Well $5 at mc donalds, $9 at walmart, etc etc. A little adds up. Can you believe They tried to charge us $75 because we went over $12

Luckily we got them to take off 37, and then today they took off 5. So now we just owe like 20 something.

you are lucky they took any off at all. most banks will charge you if you are 5 cents overdrawn. they dont care about the amount. If they were charging you 75 it was probably more than one transaction that cause you to be overdrawn.

Im happy they are working with you.. I would tell my husband to give up the debit card. :nono:

Well the first time i think they felt sorry for Rocky. The 2nd time it was my dad, he called them, with me on the other phone. And he's been with that bank for a long time, and has lots of money with them. ALso he is really good at arguring and always seems to get people to change thier mind, lol mostly because they don't feel like arguring with him. My husband is scared of him, won't even call him on the phone. My dads pretty mellowed out now, hes not as intimadating as he used to be, because hes getting old. Lucky for me.

I have to say though, everyone calls him a "tight wad" because he saves money all the time, and only spends if he really needs to, or wants to. So he has all this money. (for retirement or whatever). But hes smart I guess doing that. Because he never is in debt, and won't have to work when hes retired. I don't know alot of people that can do that.
