Immediate family or anyone living in my household is an employee of...

ragnar

I also represent that neither I nor any member of my immediate family or anyone living in my household is an employee of XXXXXXX, ePrize LLC and their advertising and Promotion agencies (the “Sponsors”), or any of their parent corporations, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, or any entity connected with this Promotion, and that neither I nor any immediate family member or anyone living in my household is connected with any of the above.

Why do they have this restriction, when obviously none of us employees even draw the winners when a 3rd party draws the winners??? I just won a $2,600 gift card for free groceries next year, though I'm not sure if I'll actually get it! When you register, there's a box to admit to being an employee, which I did mark...yet it didn't spit any error out saying I couldn't enter to win.

Employees of the company sponsoring the sweepstakes, the judging agency running said sweepstakes, etc., are exempt from winning any of them and so are their immediate family members.

For example, if General Electric is running a sweepstakes and you or one of your immediate family members works for them, you cannot enter the sweepstakes.

They do this to make the sweepstakes appear fair in that they are not favoring an employee or their family member if they were to win.

So the rules did NOT preclude ragnar from entering - looks like the affy is incorrect?

Besides:

In the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only (3) alternate drawings will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately 8-10 weeks after the conclusion of the Sweepstakes

I called HQ!!!!!!!! WE CAN ENTER...AND WIN!!!!!!!!!!!

Time to go see a Notary Public and mail it in!!!!!

that is great you get to keep your win, that would be a real bummer to win and be honest about checking the box on the entry, then lose the prize. I think it is great you qualify and get your prize. congrats
