I had DSL and I was able to open a whole bookmark folder of 25 tabs at once just fine. Robo form them and then submit them all. It was a pretty fast process that way. The DSL started to kick off anytime we used more than once computer at once so we called to get cable. The DSL provider has very old lines and no plans to upgrade their lines in the near future due to our rural location. Well since we got cable this week when I try to open multiple tabs it says it timed out and doesn't open the page. Is this an issue with all cable internet or just mine? I called and they said they fixed it....get home last night, nope still the same. They are sending a specialist today, but I doubt he does any good. We had this provider in the past and left them due to them not fixing problems. They assured us this time would be different, but so far just the same stuff....We only have 2 providers so I can't get anything else. This is really bumming me out, because it takes so long to enter sweeps that I have been skipping. Just don't have the time to open one tab at a time...Just wondering if anyone else has this issue?

perhaps I will chain him up until he fixes it lol just kidding of course....I feel silly telling him I can't open my sweeps tabs lol. You know how people who don't sweep view us sweepers.

Sounds like you are trying to open too many at once - start with 10 and work your way up to find the tipping point, gl :)

I was able to open up to 50 tabs at once with no problem with DSL. (Most of my folders hold around 25 sweeps) The day I had cable internet installed I could no longer do more than about 5. I'm just not sure what the difference is that cable won't allow me to do it....Really really adding to my sweeping time

 boozypansy I only ever had dial up {lasted 2 weeks - it was awful!!!} and cable, so I don't know why.

There are too many variables involved {computer specs/conflicting programs/browser} to definitively say which is better for you - here's a breakdown of their strengths and weaknessess:
