Is site down? Here's how to find out.

SA was down today, and since I've been having computer problems lately, I wondered if the site was "down for everyone, or just me?" And I found a site with that name, where you can just type in the URL of the site in question, and it tells you. It's super easy to use, too. http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
 
There was a problem at the hosting facility tonight where several sites were effected. Sorry for the downtime.
 
Thanks for the info. i just put that link under my favs. I was wondering if there was a way to find that out and you solved the riddle for me, thanks again =)
 
I've been having issues with site on my mobile phone for past 3 days. The site is finally showing up again but I am unable to open any links. They all send me back to main page. Please help.
 
Nice tip. You can also do a ping test here from command prompt.

ping www.sweepsadvantage.com

Pinging www.sweepsadvantage.com [184.106.55.27] with 32 bytes of data:

It would show timeout if it's down.
