I got this letter but am a bit suspicious. It came on Sunday, the phone number and fax does not seem to go to the promotion place (HP2promo.com) , this sweepstakes ended a month ago, and they ask for a copy of my driver's license even though the prize is only worth $25...What do you guys think?

Usually affidavits aren't required for anything under $500, but some sweeps companies do for smaller prizes...for $25..yeah it happens. Call them tomorrow and ask why the extreme measure for this prize..good luck!

Its only worth $25.00 perhaps pass on it, I don't like giving out to much information. But good luck to you.

i have had to send a copy of my dl and fill out an affadavit for a tshirt which i declined to do and passed on the prize. Not worrkt all that for a tshirt

I noticed that when the prize comes from a company associated with alcohol, I usually have to provide ID to prove age to claim the prize. Not sure how true that is, but those are the only times it has happened to me for low-cost prizes.

It's a real win, BUT...I have been asked for my driver's license for a sweater and declined.

Like others have said, just not worth it to me to give out so much info for a small win. It was the first time I was asked for my driver's license. Have no idea why but No, thanks!!

I've had to do it in the past, call the number and I always check search for "Mike's Harder Deadpool 2 Go to the Movies Sweepstakes" scam. Or whatever I have doubts about. Probably legit. Search scams when in doubt. Good luck!

It sounds legit. I once was asked to submit an affy for a $25 lipstick (I declined). As for the license, I have needed to submit mine for prizes and was told it was okay to hide the license #, they just want to verify your age and that you are who you say you are.

It's real... they gave you a sweepstakes name and you can just tell its legit. I have had to submit affys for prizes worth $25 up to $350. Every company is different.

Hp2win is legit! I once won two drinking glasses through them and they wanted an affidavit for a prize that was like $20. I passed on it cause I didn't have the time to get a notary! It wasn't worth it to me!

congrats :) they gave you a number to call, i'd call it and ask if it was really necessary for your drivers license info, you can always declined but i think its worth a phone call to them before you do.

Liquor companies always require a drivers license to claim a prize. I won a towel from a liquor company and had to send an affidavit with copy of ID.

HP2 is legit. I just won a bike from them. Had to send in a signed affadavit (and had to have it notarized at the bank) to get my prize, worth $250.

Thank you everyone! I appreciate the advice and input. Based on that, I decided to call them and was assured that they ask for the license number just to verify your age and that you live in the state you claim for eligibility. So, yay!! A real win!

It sounds real and I think you need to submit license to prove age because Mike's Hard Lemonade is alcohol but like the previous person said you can send copy but block out number
