This is Jimmie's long weekend off, so I made him take me to Evansville today to look at Sofa Express ~ they are going out of business and I wanted to see what they had on sale. Anyway we get there and I talk my husband into buying me a king-size bedroom set and mattress, (it has a chest, dresser, and 2 nightstands ~ as well as the headboard and footboard), a new kitchen table, chairs, and hutch with a cabinet, and a new living room set (just couch, chair and a half, and ottoman :crazytongue:
We have been married for 16 years now and I have never had any new furniture except a new recliner (of course, that is his)! I've got my Grandparents old living room furniture and we are still sleeping in my queen size water bed that I got when I was in 9th grade :laughing:
Now I've got to get in here and get everything cleaned up so I can get our new stuff in here! We are going to repaint the walls and sand down the floors and refinish them. Plus all the old stuff has to come out and new stuff in...what a job!
If you guys don't see me much over the next few days you will know what I am doing. My living room stuff won't be in for almost a month, so I've got time to work in there a little, but the rest of this stuff is going to be a mad rush!

It is hard to see the colors ~ it sorta looks grey and white on my screen. I'm doing my bedroom in brown and turquiose also! I am a happy camper!
