Just curious...Sweeps per Day?

Right now I'm doing about 100 a day. It varies a bit depending on how much time I have and how many instant wins games I can find. I like them.
I am so curious as to how many all the big "Winners" do...Like I had stated, I am doing around 100-150 a day and I am hoping that is enough to get me going...so far I have won 4 Instants since SeptemberI feel it coming though!!
I totally understand the impulse to try to find a pattern, but after 9 years in, entering hundreds faithfully every day {well, faithfully for the 1st 5 or 6 years - I started taking off 1 day a week to prevent burnout} I've won one big GP {$10,000} and tons of smaller prizes.
But, during these same 9 years, I've seen people post they got into sweeping *after* hitting a biggie, reports of people hitting GP's with only 1 entry, when it was a daily, and we have had quite a few who start fretting if they haven't won big in the past 6 months, since they *usually* win at *least* one GP a year!!!
I believe the only reason I'm still sweeping is because I accepted that I have *no* control over the process, once I've chosen to enter a promo - except for *when* I enter. And when I am in a slump, I change up my timing, focus outward rather than inward, and when it gets to be too much, I purge here:

thank you Amy. I too am new since March and am pretty into it as well! There just isnt enough hours to do every sweep. I do the fun ones for me, I also have been really lucky with the magazine wins (5 smaller wins since march)
I do spend a lot of time honestly, but, I find it amuzing and a bit addicting. I also won a 10K$ GP just 4 months after starting, so there is no real rhyme nor reason.

Yep, "there is no real rhyme nor reason" so true!
Actually, I'm surprised you are still entering - most people who hit big fast end up quitting when they don't hit big again after a few weeks/months!

i really am a pretty realistic person, and realize I may, statistically, NEVER win big again! and that is ok. I dont have to live on my winnings, I admit I have a gambling personality and this is a way to satisfy it for free
I love to daydream about the trips and pondering who to take ect (no, havent even won a trip yet) but, maybe in the future. Even if I alrady won, my odds for winning again is as good as the next person! and I enjoy even the smaller wins!

It took me about 6 months to hit {$100 IW} and a little longer to adopt the "enter and forget it" attitude, and 6 years to hit that GP, so I figure I'm "due" in about 3 years, lol!
Seriously, I could have written your post - gambling, check. Happy to win any prize, check. - but not on trips, my back can't take the strain!

Right around 200. Very few for trips, since don't care to pay the taxes on those. I enjoy reading so lots of those. I like the facebook , as since most those short dated and don't have to wait so long to find out who wins. Instant wins also fun to enter. Most pick and choice things I would really like to win, and love the ones that has g/c's or lots of winners. My entry time is scattered, since now retired. Fun hobby and don't cost anything. Will enter some that I know will be used as presents (kids toys, tools, etc).

180 every day, for the last six months.... No wins, but hey this "hobby" has kept me from going insane since i can't find a job... So if i didn't have this, i don't know what i would do... So in the words of poco.... Keep on trying.......
lcollins1028, you probably have already won *something* you just haven't found out yet!
I've lost track of how many times {over the last 9 1/2 years} I saw a post along the lines of
"I won!!! I entered and entered for weeks {months} and didn't win a thing, so I quit entering a week {month} ago and just today was notified/received a prize out of the blue! I'm entering again now, lol!"
btw - the ones who hit big fast? They usually don't last.
Like you, it took me 6 months of entering to hit, then many more months before I hit regularly {3-4 times a week or so} then long dry spells, followed by spurts of winning, and a good 6 years to win a $10,000 GP!
IW games are good & bad IMO - good in that you can {sometimes} win a small prize to affirm that you really *can* win, and bad if you only enter for IW's or think you can't win if you don't hit on them!
I use keywords to search for specific prizes & will enter all but BLOGS {I need rules, TYVM!} so I don't put all my eggs in one category, lol!
