 Well we took kailey to school today. We went in her classroom, kailey was so excited, she sat in her desk, looked around, then kept getting up to go look at the toys, and different stuff in the room. Then she wanted to go to the bathroom. Well I took her. Then she wanted to look around the room agian. I said ok rocky its time to go. Rocky sat there, and said I'm not leaving until they close the doors. lol. So I kissed kailey goodbye, and told her I will get her when schools over. I left Rocky sitting in her class.
In the cafeteria, they had a "boo hoo" breakfast. So I went in there, and ate a bagel, and was talking to some of the other moms. I saw 3 school workers, that i knew from when I was in school there. WOW they are getting old. We talked a while. They couldn't believe how much I've grown, and how I have a child now. Then Rocky came in, we sat and he ate. Then he saw a policeman that was eating there too. Rocky said, "I'm glad there are cops here." LOL Rocky is so worried about kailey.
Some of the moms were crying, but it seemed to be the older moms. Not the younger ones.
I saw one of my friends from highschool, she was 2 years younger then me, and has a 7 year old and a 5 year old. I was like wow.
Well I'm gonna do some sweeps, go to work for my dad for a little while. And then pick up kailey around 3pm. I'm glad kailey will be having fun with new friends, and learning stuff.

Sounds like it went well and you did a good job :) I remember crying when my girls started school and guess what I still cry when they leave from my house because they both live in different cities.

You will be thinking about her all day and when you pick her up you will be so thrilled to hear how her first day went.

Rocky sounds like a good dad.

:sunny: Looks like your little girl is growing up! They grow up so fast. What a great idea having a boo hoo breakfast. Kailey will have so much to tell you when she gets home. What fun for her!

Just wait Tiff ~ in a few years you will be having a YAHOO breakfast like the rest of us

I love that one.

I remember when my kids first started school, I don't think I cried but, I worried constantly and still do. I was a little bummed and excited at the same time this year. I did get to go and have breakfast all by my lonesome at a country diner this morning and paid $5 plus a tip since I was alone. It was so peaceful and no one was really there, I love that place!

I'm really happy for her, she gets to get away from me, I'm hoping are relationship will get a little better, she will realize I'm not such a horrible witch she thinks I am.
I am constantely around her, and having to be the discipline lady. And it drives us both insane. Were Rocky is not around as much, so he comes off as Mr. perfect daddy. Hopefully this break will show us both how much we love each other. Or something lol.

Also I'm hoping it tires her out. Because she does not like going to sleep at night. Shes too hyper.

Now I'm just confused on what to do. I should be getting a job. But I can't get a full time job, because she's only in school for 5 hours. It's like by the time I get to work, it's almost time to get her. Well not exactly.
So ive been working for my dad part time. But he doesn't have much work to do. I need to make $200 for mortgage, and whatever else spending money, a month. That's all Rocky says I have to pay. Thats good.

Oh btw Kailey is starting to do her gross stuff agian. Rocky found a huge booger by my bed, and thought it was from me. Sometimes kailey sleeps with me. Well I told him it was from kailey. He was like ewww why wipe it on the wall, I just wipe it somewhere where no one can see. I'm thinking there must be thousands of boogers under his bed. jk

The other day when I went to work, Kailey had a big surprise for me when I came home. Glitter (that was sopposed to be for school), she took, and threw all over the house, carpet, table, tiolet, beds, etc. She said, look mommy the house is so pretty. :cussing: :nono: ROcky had a fit. I have to admit, it did look pretty, but I was upset, that was a waste of glitter. We vacumned it all up. TOok about 3 days to clean up. Still there is a little specks here and there. Yea I know I cleaned. Its a miracle. I've been doing the dishes for 11 days straight. I started a calender. It takes 21 days to break a habit. Well I did 21 boxes, and every night I do the dishes I check it off. Rocky loves it. He hasn't had to do the dishes in a while. lol

Well kailey had so much fun at school today. She said they did school work, painted, played outside, and it was really fun. She also said she "bought her lunch". Which doesn't make any sense, because I sent her to school with a lunch box. Well I looked in it, and her food was still in it???? I asked her how she payed for lunch? Since I didn't give her anymoney. She said, they have a necklace, you wear if you are buying lunch. I used that. I asked her if she brought her lunchbox to the cafeteria. She said no, I left it in the classroom. I asked on purpose? She said, yea I didn't want to eat that lunch, I wanted to buy lunch.
hmmm So I guess I owe the school $1.50. And I guess I need to make a school account lunch fund thing. Cause I don't want her to continue to do that.

You'd be surprised. Depending on what you put in the lunchbox, it can actually work out to be less $$ by purchasing from school. And it cultivates an appreciation for the food at home!

I talked to the cafeteria lady today. They said that yesterday whoever didn't have money and bought lunch, was free. They aren't going to charge parents for that. But starting today they are.
So kailey has her lunch money for today. The rest of this week I'm going to have to empty my wallet. I only have $4.00 left in my wallet. But thats because I have to have it for the mortgage.
Well anyways I think its better she buys lunch. I think it is cheaper. Plus she gets more of a variety. And she told me what she had yesterday. Chicken nuggets, oranges, and broccolli (oops didn't spell right). She told me she didn't want french fries, so she picked the broccolli instead because its "healthy"... lol but she said its Heal-phy. Oh and she had choclate milk.
YAY shes drinking milk. I have to beg her to drink milk.

When my boys went to school, I admit I cried. When my daugther went to school.. I bawled.

And the kids all go "bye Dad!" and walk away.

The teacher that I had for kindergarten had both my boys and my daughter. Same with my first grade and second grade teacers for them. living in a small town can be interesting. lol.

Now they have a new school and new teachers.
