Kinda have question/problem? Need help :)

OK I received an email on Sept. 9th saying I had won a PUR water filter from pregnancy360.com. I was sent some forms, got them filled out and faxed them back. It said on that email that I had 7 days to return the forms. No problems there, I did it in 1! Anyways so alot of time has went by and I had sent the girl an email just saying I was curious when it would come b/c our water here tastes gross and I am excited to get it! Anyways, she said she was waiting to hear from other winners. OK. So alot more times went by, I sent the girl 3 emails with no answer. So I just called the number on the email and got a guy who said "Oh he knows about that one, and that he's waiting on other winners to get the forms to him. Well, in my email, it said I had 7 days to return the forms or I would forfeit the prize. So thats where I get the fishy feeling. Why do they have 3 months and they haven't even gotten him the forms? Does this sound valid or what? Any advice here? Be patient? What you any of you think? Any advice would be appreciated here :) Thanks :)
 
I'm new at sweeping, but to feel secure, I think that you should have already recieved your prize.
I am happy that you won, but honestly, as for now I would set it aside in my mind, since you have tried numerous times to find out if you will recieve your prize. It's up to you to make the final call and ask to speak to someone who knows what's going on, or just let the prize go....

I would have done what you have, but in the end, if it was meant to be...it will be...

:scratch: Their reply does leave room for suspicion with all the time that has gone by. Not sure how many winners they had but they may be picking alternate winners for the winners that did not get their paperwork back in time. The answer that they are giving you may also be a standard answer that they are told to give questioning winners. Not too much more that you can do other to wait and see if it shows up.

They have a CYA:

"Sponsors reserve the right to modify these rules for clarification purposes without materially affecting the term and conditions of the Sweepstakes"

And what is probably going on is they are really waiting on fulfillment - they {Pregnancy360.Com} run/sponsor a bunch of sweeps but they don't have the prizes laying around to send out ahead of time - they work with {in this case PUR} after they confirm winners and that's where you run into problems.
 
Thanks everyone. I'll just give it some time and see if it shows up. I'm sure it eventually will. I've never had a problem with receiving any other prize, even though they may take a while to arrive, they always have arrived! Thanks again :)
