Got this e-mail this morning  Isn't that great news.

As if you needed another reason to love hot, fresh, Krispy Kreme® doughnuts.

Well, here it is. Each Krispy Kreme® doughnut is made with zero grams of trans fat.

Think about it.

I love them but here in Texas or at least in Houston their shops closed down. I was so upset. Now I have to get them in Louisiana when I visit my home there.

they have them all over up here. no dunkin donuts though and I miss dunkin. I havent seen any around here.

I don't drink coffee, but Dunkin's donuts have really gone downhill. I think it's because they don't make them at the shops anymore. Also, the service is 100% horrible! And, when you do complain, they don't answer. Unfortunately, we don't have many alternatives around here. So, no donuts for Wolfie!

Please don't tell me that Cin. If they become good for you, then I just know I'm not gonna like them anymore.

I agree with you bunnytoes...I try to stay away from anything "good" for me...it all tastes terrible. I suppose I will die at an early age from some sort of health-related sickness -- heart attack, stroke, diabetes, etc. -- and I suppose I will go out well-fed at least.

I guess because I can only get Krispy Kreme every now and again I LOVE them!! We can only get them when we go to Evansville and we will only get them when the FRESH light is on. They are so good...........drooling..........................

I can remember them though  We used to go to Britts when I was about five years old...when the Beatles were a new band and all that :sunny:

Times sure have changed from the time I was a kid. When I was 5 President Kenedy got shot and I remember watching the funeral on TV and how my mom and Gramdma were crying. Now that was a good looking President for sure.

Well, Elvis died when I was 8, so that is the closest thing that I have to that! It was strange though because me and my best friend had been listening to Burning Love ALL morning long!!! I still love that song!!

OK don't give me a hard time for this one maybe Elvis ate too many doughnuts  I'm sorry I couldn't resist

The reason Krispy Kreme had to close many of its stores was to get back on their feet after a $93M settlement with their biggest franchise owner. One or two of their upper ups were overbilling, erroneously billing, misbilling, etc., this franchise owner. They closed the one down the road from us too. Our closest one now is at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. Once the company gets back to were they were before, they'll be back to opening up new stores.

"Elvis didn't die, he just went home"
Tommy Lee Jones' "K" character to Will Smith's "J" character in Men In Black :headbang:
