Marie Calendar and Rigid

I received my pie server from Marie Calender. Very nice, I guess that means I need to learn how to bake a pie! I think though I need to "master" cakes (from a mix of course) after an indicent last week while trying to bake a birthday cake! I had to make 2....Luckily the first one was still edible (and good) just not pretty!

I also got an orange hat that says RIGID. I think the letter said it's a tool company. It's an nice hat that will soon be on the shelves of my local goodwill.

:sunny: Well if you can't bake a pie, Marie Callendar sure has some great pies for you to use that new pie server! Congratulations!

Congratulations!!

Here is an easy (and healthy!) pumpkin pie recipe for you:

Ingredients:
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 large eggs
1 can 15 oz. canned plain 100% pumpkin (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
1 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pre-made pastry pie crust, or graham cracker pie crust.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in yogurt. Pour into pie shell, Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours.

Ask most any man & they'll know about RIGID. They're really popular for their calendars! :crazytongue:

congrats on your win! :headbang:
