I was just wondering when you entering an instant win that has a sweepstakes attached to it and IF you can win the elusive instant win, if it was a one win only, can you, should you, do you personally continue to enter it, not trying to win the instant again, exactly, but to be entered into the sweep or would that be considered against the rules. I always am confused by this so I don't usually know what to do and stop entering but wonder if it is hurting my chances at the sweepstakes part of the contest. Thanks!

When I win an IW in a sweep that has a grand prize, etc, I usually play again and just don't do the IW part. There are some out there right now that I am playing this way. Usually just logging on puts you into the main sweep.

You would have to read the rules for each one. Usually, the grand prize is drawn from the initial registrations, not each entry. For the few that do allow you to keep entering for the grand prize, it's usually set that you won't get another instant win once you've won one. Winners of the instant win prizes are picked from just the time the entrant logged in, not from playing or passing the game.

If one is limited to only one "instant win" you usually can continue to enter for the grand prize. You just will have the privilege of seeing the $1,000 instant win you could have won instead of that 50 cents off coupon on your next purchase of a jumbo-size box Ex-lax

The grand prize is almost never included in the instant win part of the sweepstakes.

hmmmmm... :scratch: .... of the 20 or so I am currently entering on a regular basis NONE of them give me any option to just enter the grand. ???
Either that or I am just full of ... maybe ... where's that coupon I won for that Ex-lax???

In some cases, after you have won one of the instants, it will tell you that you have already won a prize--their nice way of saying you can't enter anymore. It all depends on how each one sets it up.
Once in a blue moon, you will see one say that you can keep entering for the grand prize. It's probably best to read the rules, although many times the rules don't even make much sense. :scratch:

Well at least I am not the only one that gets confused by the rules!!! I usually do continue to enter if it lets me and the grand prize is something that my hubby or daughter REALLY REALLY want... but I always wonder if I am ruining my chance with that too... sometimes the rules are just so confusing... I think they do that on purpose! LOL! Thanks everyone!
