This is the third time that I have experienced this issue.
When trying to sign on I was getting a message dialogue box telling me there were no "suitable nodes" to connect me to Sweepstakes Advantage. I interpreted this as the site being down for maintenance but on the second day I was able to sign my laptop on from a different isp than Mediacom so I called Mediacom Tech. The first tech listened to my dilemma and promptly disconnected our phone connection. I'm sure it was accidental but it was none the less frustrating. My second call was taken by a very pleasant young lady that sounded very competent. After a few tests she returned to the phone and advised me that she was able to duplicate the problem and it should be corrected in 24-48 hours. Ouch!! Two days without my sweepstakes page! Well lss, when I returned to my computer after a quick trip to the store my Sweepstakes Advantage was back.
Moral to the story? Don't just assume it's a wide range issue. It could be a routing issue with your ISP and can be corrected.
Best part? The tech at Mediacom is also an avid Sweepstakes Advantage participant. You know who you are and Radi8r salutes you. :headbang:  :thewave:
