missing win

On January 2 nd I got an email that I won a Carolee necklace from "haveuheard.net.
So far I have not received it and have notified them twice. Each time they say it will
be shipped. Nothing so far. Has anyone else had problems with this group?
Is it legitamate? Should I keep after them or give up the ship?

:sunny: Have never heard of them, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. I would guess that they are waiting to get the prize from their sponsor or that the sponsor is doing the mailing. Since you have already contacted them looks like you will just have to sit back and wait to see if it comes. You may want to contact them every couple of weeks to let them know you are still waiting. All the more reason NOT to enter Blog sweeps. It's always a crapshoot as to whether or not you receive any prize(s) you may hae won. Blogs are run by everyday people, and they are not required to follow the rules and such that companies/organizations would follow when offering sweeps. This is unfortunate...and IMO, blogs are a waste of time when it comes to sweeps. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting on their wins. :wave:

This can also happens with regular sweepstakes. In most cases, the blogger is not responsible for the sending out of a prize; and they do have to follow them same regulations and guidelines under the law just as any other sweepstakes--they do have rules for their sweepstakes.

The blogger simply hands over the winner's information to the sponsor for them to send out the prize. For example, a Gorton's prize I got yesterday from a blog I won came directly from the company as is the case with most every prize. Whenever there is a problem getting a prize, it usually lies with the sponsor not the blogger.
