Murdered child's body found close to my house

This poor kid had been missing for a couple of weeks

A neighbor just found his body today while putting out corn for the deer. The kid was shot several times. Its though that the murder was a drug related execution, because the kid was a witness to a previous murder (of my cousin, BTW)
This body was found where I used to ride my bike, its right here near my house. They had to drive by to dump him.
Needless to say we're all sitting around heavily armed.
People don't think of rural communities having gang violence, but they do.
If I have any internet stalkers now is not a good time to show up in the bushes! :nono:

All I keep thinking is that the very same buzzards that were eating that 'possum in the field had been eating the kid as well. I'd seem them circling, I thought it was a dead deer. This freaks me out.
 
Oh that is so scary. I can't imagine how that mother must feel. And you for it to be so close to your house. Thats creepy. Sorry to hear about that.
 
:cry: That is certainly a tragedy. What are these kids thinking these days? The world is such a scary place.
 
Thats awful. Im so sorry about your cousin. I hope they catch the people who did it. I wish it was like when I was a kid. we would leave in the morning and not come home till dinner. you cant let your kids do that now days. Its sad. I dont think I would be able to sleep knowing that they had to come by my house with that poor kids body. awful. I hope the your neighbor is doing alright. I cant imagine finding something like that.
 
That is SO sad ~ you just never know what kids are into anymore when they are not with you. We live in the country and have lots of "stripper pits" (coal mines land that was reclaimed for fishing, just in case you have never heard of it) and people come from miles around to fish ~ but they also come to drop there stolen cars, property, dead bodies, whatever... you never know what or who you will run up on out there!!

Hate that it hit so close to home for you, but if it makes you feel any better, I told you I wasn't stalking you ~ lol!!
