Congrats! I can understand your not wanting to give out your SS# and if the prize is under $600 they shouldn't be asking for it. I've run across this a few times and if you let them know that you don't want to provided for a win under that amount, most times they will let that slide. If you haven't already done so, ask them if you can claim without it.
