my gmail has been disabled

When I tried to sign in, I got a notice saying that my gmail as been disabled. As far as I can see, there is no valid reason for this to happen. They say that it will be restored after minutes up to 24 hrs, but it never was. When I contact them, they just refer me to a troubleshooting site. None of the suggestions help. I gave them an alternate email to contact me. I received a reply and all it told me was to refer to their help site. It's like a vicious cycle. Most of my sweeps uses gmail as my address. I try to enter some of my contests with a new registration, but they refuse to let me do so with a new email address. Can anyone give me suggestions on how I can restore my gmail? Thank you.

This happened to me one time and it was gmail's mistake. Try this password recovery page. Eventually
you should end up asking for the account to be reset.

Thank you for your help, but "forgot your password" does not work. They come back and tell me my account is disabled. sort of ridiculous, isn't it? I tried the second link, but I could not answer most of the questions. I Can't remember the password (I always sign in with Roboform) nor can I remember when I created the account, which was some time ago. They said they will get back to me. I am sunk if they tell me to go TO their "help" site again. Well, I'll see what happens when they get back to me.

How do I get the contest sites to edit my email address? tHANKS!
