Am a 1 month old new sweeper. Thanks to everyone and their posts. The tips have really made my initiation easier. Takes me about 1 and a half hours to do 150 entries daily. Is this normal?

Just keep entering. You will be well on your way to winning. Everyone here at Sweepstakes Advantage are behind you and are here to help. They cheer you on here when you win. No jealousy from others. Good clean people and fun. I have been on here a while now, and yes I have won big and small. The people that run this site are awesome and need to be commended for all they do. I am disabled and if it wasn't for Sweeps Advantage I would be in front of the television doing nothing. This keeps me busy and my mind sharp. Enter and enter again, and again. Enjoy and welcome to the site. :)

You mentioned the amount of sweeps you enter. I have 1058 daily, 5-24 hr., 291 one entry, 11 unlimited, 22 instant win, 252 DVD, 18 CD, and 70 Book. That is a lot, and I am on all day, in between my housework and doctor's appointments. Over time you will accumulate more and more. It is contagious.

Welcome aboard jackiejanep!!! If you have any questions, we'll help if we are able!!!

Because we all have different setups, we can't really compare one on one. but there are many variables that could determine how long it takes you to enter.

1} Your computer. Older {usually} will = slower, but even a newer one can be slow if you have a lot of programs and/or don't keep up maintenance, like defrag.
2} Typing vs. autofill {ie: RoboForm}
3} Logins vs. daily forms. Especially if they are flash and must be hand typed.

What is most important is what you prioritize - your time or your $$$.

If your time is most important, then using a {purchased} autofill program like RoboForm and purchasing a PLUS subscription makes sense for you.

If it's your $$$, the free versions of both will assist you in honing your skills to enter in a shorter time period the longer you enjoy this hobby.

There is no right or wrong answer to your question. Each of us has to determine how much time we can devote to this hobby and that'll determine how many sweeps we can enter.

There's also quantity vs quality. Are you going to set a floor limit (not set in concrete) and not enter sweeps unless they have an ARV of more than a certain dollar amount.

You should ask questions when you don't understand something and always read the rules until you become more familiar with the different sponsors (provides the prizes) and promoters (administers/runs the contest) . It'd also be a good idea to scan the privacy policies for awhile to determine how most sweeps handle your personal info.

Google "creative presentation" to learn about this type of sweep. Usually you'll find that statement or "unique brand presentation" in the first few paragraphs of the rules. Basically, there's only one prize for multiple sweeps. Sometimes all of the participating sweeps are disclosed in the rules and sometimes not.

Unfortunately, not all sweeps are as innocent as they appear. Watch out for those that indicate they'll call/contact you with info. Don't ever waive your do not call rights, as I guarantee you, you'll be called - probably repeatedly.

Become familiar with roboform. It's a form filler and it'll save you a lot of time. It's free if you limit the number of log-ins (passcards). > > > RoboForm Free Password Manager - RoboForm

Be careful, Roboform doesn't always fill out a form completely or correctly - proofread!

I think most of us re-use a log-in password, otherwise we'd have thousands of passwords to remember.

There's much more and I'm sure you'll have lots of questions - don't be afraid to ask 'em.

Welcome aboard.

ps: I started typing this prior to Amy's post, but she posted before I did. Guess I need to learn to type faster.

lol curmudgeon - we probably *both* need to type faster & reload the page into another window to see if anyone posted while we were composing our posts!

Good tips as usual, ty!!!

Amy,

I wanted to find the right link for her for Roboform. I opened a second window probably blew 10 minutes doing that. When I returned and finished my comments I found you'd already posted. I almost deleted it, but I had so much time invested that I just left it.

Oh no - don't ever delete! I often use your posts in comments/threads because you convey ideas so concisely!!!
