ATTENTION - if you post an ask {votes, referrals, facebook friends, or similar requests} prior to being a member for 2 weeks, you WILL be banned for the remainder.
That means 2 weeks if you just joined today. If you joined and waited 5 days? You will be banned for 9 days.
We've had to resort to banning *everyone* who breaks this simple rule because we moderators have had to play catch up, while waiting for new members to stop posting their ask long enough to read the rules.
Please take that time to familiarize yourself with the simple rules, thanks.

If they are eligible? It's very likely they are "hit and run" type, posting here and never returning to ever RTF.
7} DO post you RTF'd to their thread, not just your own. I personally don't enter "vote for me" contests, but I DO vote daily. I {and some others} will only vote for you if you RTF to threads other than JUST your own.
8} DO be aware that if you post at SA, you will be expected to RTF at SA.
9} DO post you will be asking when your 2 weeks are up when you vote, but do NOT include any info like the title or link.

HOW TO:
Just go to YOUR thread and click on QUOTE. Right click and click on SELECT ALL and then COPY.
Now go to and open the thread where you are voting and hit REPLY
Right click {with your cursor in the reply box} and click on PASTE. You can add any info {ie: I VOTED, I was vote #5, etc} above or below what you just C&P'ed.
Now your ask is posted, which provides the voting link and if they click on it, will take them to YOUR thread, where they can easily RTF! :headbang:
That way people won't have to try to find your thread - or which thread you mean if you have multiple asks - and then they'll post they RTF'ed to your thread and bump you up in return!

If you ignore these rules, your thread/post/comment will be modified and/or deleted and locked and you will be banned.
DON'TS:

7} Do NOT post an ask and then not expect to have to RTF - you need to vote at LEAST as often as you are asking others to vote for you.
^^^If you post an ask, but you don't RTF, your thread will modified after 3 days and will be locked after 4 days from your thread post date to protect the SA members who would wait in vain for an RTF.
ALSO: NO asking for money/donations - SA is a sweepstakes site, and therefore NOT an appropriate venue for requesting donations. There are sites where it is appropriate, please try one of them.
