it will be a total of 2 weeks since i tryed to get direct tv thru the phone company yesterday i was susposed to get it installed instead of sending the guy to my physical address in reedsport they sent him to my moms house!boy was my step dad confused.they live in coosbay!that is where my bills get sent to.i sure was mad now the rest of the family who wanted cable is getting mad at me.i am starting to regret my decion.i have to wait until april 4 for the installation now.[sad]oh yeah the simple internet that you hook up yourself took over an hr on the phone with techinal help.errrr.but at least now i am back online.this is my sons computer so until i get another computer i half to share.kandy

I'm sorry to hear this. I don't want satellite because, they want $400 deposit from us so we are watching basic, over the air channels. I wish they had cable lines out here though, I would change my internet to cable instead of dial up and drop the phone.

We had directv for about two years. I hated it and switched to cable. We even bought the equipment for directv. So now I have all this equipment stuck in storage and no use for it. What a waste of money.
