I am in Mississippi now. It was hard at first because, there is so many different beliefs here. Religion and cultural based so it's something to get use to and you find yourself standing your ground and sticking up for your own beliefs that you were raised with in CA. It's quite different here and a slower pace but, it's so beautiful! It stays green all year around, the lake near my house is awesome (I love lakes) and we live in the country so it's peaceful and you learn a lot about your neighbors. (Not to mention my husband seems to be related to everyone LOL)
There are both a lot of pros and cons of living here, I think the pro's to me outweigh the cons. One of the biggest things is my kids have both brought up grades and do much better in school here than out there. They are in one of the top schools in the state so I am very thankful for that.
Do you have myspace? If you do send me a pm. I have a few pics there.
