Won the OMAZE Trip to NYC to go shoe shopping with Sarah Jessica Parker! I received an email stating I was a potential winner. I gave my info and social links. Did a Skype video interview. Submitted the electronic paperwork. About a wk process before it was official. I live in CA so I'm looking forward to a trip to NY and getting new shoes with SJP! This trip is scheduled the same wknd as my sister's bachelorette trip to NYC that I couldn't go to because it was too expensive and I can't be away from the kids too many days so it is an awesome coincidence that I can be there for a day at the same time. And get shoes for her wedding.

If you're unfamiliar with Omaze, you can get entries by making a donation to the cause associated with the prize you want to win or use the alternate free entry. You can't receive more than one grand prize in an 18 month period.

By all means donate if you want since they are all good causes and I wish I did since I won. But you do not need to donate to win!

- I entered once a day during this campaign, missing a couple days
- I did not donate to this particular giveaway. I donated for a Tesla but I am now ineligible to win again for 18 months
- You can enter multiple times a day. The amoe sweepstakes = 200 entries. Each person is limited to 1million entries regardless of entry method

Again, I'm so sorry. The thread just disappeared and no way to get it back.

Congratulations!!! I won a trip from Omaze a few years ago for the Nine Lives movie premiere..You will have a blast. Enjoy SJP....cant wait to hear all the details..
 
Congrats and what a great coincidence you can enjoy with your Sister for the party! I won the Whistler trip from Omaze earlier this year and going in about 2 weeks with my sister. Have a great time and enjoy NYC and meeting SJP.

Congrats! Love to see SA members winning Omaze. I see a lot of people accusing the winners of being fake and I want to scream at my computer that I am a real person! haha

Does anyone know is one were to win one of the weekly prizes if they would be ineligible to win one of the grand prizes for 18 months?

From my understanding of the rules, you can win a major($600+) and a minor prize (under $600) in an 18 month period. Anyone correct me if I am wrong.
I'm hoping for a minor prize in the Tesla giveaway. I believe the weekly $1000 in this giveaway is considered a major prize.

I asked Omaze if I were to decline the prize, would I still be eligible to win or have to wait the probationary 18 months and they said I could still win. I still took the prize though. My husband and I haven't had a day to ourselves in years!

Cool! Thanks so much for explaining that there is a way to enter without donating. I never bothered to check! The experiences all look amazing!
 
Congratulations on this big win. You are blessed! I didn't realize that you can enter multiple times per day for an OMAZE contest.
 
Wow! I can't believe you won without donating. I really didn't think it was possible. Congrats, and how fun on your trip. New York is so much fun!

You can win a weekly prize and a large prize. I think that it says it in the rules.

I'm so glad to see that a SA user won an OMAZE sweep. I think that is a true blessing for you, have fun shopping and visiting your sister. So happy for you. <3
