i feel so stupid i never had to sign a advadavid and now i didnt realize what a notary was i went ahead and got my fiancee to siqn that part and sent it out yesterday omg do u think the ppl will be upset. the lady ws nice she told me to call her if i had any concerns so now im going to have to call her tomorrow and let her know that i messed up and im going to the bank tomorrow to get it notarized and sent out. they told me my chck for 2000 will be here in 3-6 weeks after they have confirmed all the information when they get the advi bak. im stressin myself out because i need the money and i keep messin things up. this is the biggest win ive ever had. it was actually a 4000 trip but i took the cash option instead. wow i feel like a dummy i hope they dont get mad. it says u have untill oct 9th to make plans. i got the advi last wk and had allready talked to her but she seemed nice hopefully she wont think im crazy.i allready decided to take the cash so she knows im aware.
 
I not quite sure how to respond to this....but a word of advice, be careful, know what your getting yourself into, and call the immediately and explain what you've done.
 
What contest was it? I am always curious to know who wins a particular contest.

Hopefully, this is one of many affys for you to complete!
 
it was the sensodyne contest that anded in august. a one time entry and it has two grand prize winners. it was a trip to rome, grand canyon, egypt, utah or barrier islands worth 4000 or 200o cash option
 
I think if you call and explain, it should be fine. Just be calm, and explain that this is the first affidavit you've had to do, and weren't sure what a notary meant. Did you keep a copy of your affidavit? Maybe they will even let you get that signed by a notary (you can do this at most banks) and send it in.

Just print out another affy,sign it, have someone notorize it and overnight it to the sponsor.... Of course calling them and asking if this will be acceptable.... Hope this helps and congrats to ya... :sunny:
 
just got a call from my sponsor she was very polite and wasnt at all mad. yeyyyyyyy well now i know and from now on i wont make that mistake again. she said she will throw away the first one and keep the 2nd one. imagine if i won a million dollars and i made such a mistake lol ill be more careful this time around.
