A package containing a Kitchen Appliance is
ready to be delivered to you by FedEx or USPS.

Package Contents:

Kitchen Appliance
Stainless Steel Finish

Delivery information:

I got the about in an e-mail. When I chicked on the delivery conformation there is a $20.00 delivery fee. Is this a scam? Thanks, Helen

this really sounds like a scam and they will probably send you a can opener, it is something to get you to send money

Check into it because it might be legit. I've noticed that on some giveaways it will say that if you can pay a small amount for shipping it's yours. Well I hope that you really did win something great!

the problem with this type of message is it doesn't say what it is and makes the person think it is big when in fact it is not,the kitchen appliance can be a can opener and a stainless steel finish can be cheap, and if the message didn't come from a sweep sponsor it probably contains a $2 item that you are stuck with if you pay that amount.

In the United States it is illegal for any company to charge you money for something you have "won". This is a scam to get your money. The only money you should ever pay for a "win" in a contest is applicable taxes on large prizes. Please do not fall into this trap and send money. Good luck on legitimate contests.
