Phone Calls

I am a newbie to this and really enjoy trying to win a prize. I also have people from all over the country calling me now to try and sell me something. How do you all deal with this? Now I monitor all calls and refuse to answer my phone, but what if someone is calling with a winner notification? :wave:

You must have missed checking or unchecking a box that said you allowed them to give your name a number to 3rd parties. You may just have to answer them and ask to be put on their do not call list ... most will honor your request. (But not Rachel from Card Services :crazytongue: ) The only unwanted phone calls I am getting are from Rachel, one from a mattress company that calls each time I enter the monthly sweeps, and all the political calls, which are driving me up a tree. And I agree, you hate to not answer because it could be a win and some will give it 2 or 3 tries, and won't leave a message.

Yes, go to the do not call lists & enter your number...then be careful and check...or uncheck those boxes that allows them to call you. I have not had this problem, thank goodness!
Also if/when they call tell them you are on the do not call list and tell them not to call back.

The do not call list is not retroactive. If a box allowing them to call was missed a request must be made when they call to be put on their do not call list. And in the future if a box is missed they will be able to call even if on the do not call list because permission (even if by mistake) was given. The do not call list if for people you haven't done business with in the past 18 months, or given permission to.
