You know I wrote about this today in prayer of the day today and God will provide for you. That's just who he is so be strong and have faith.

Lord you are Jehovah Jireh our provider and I ask for this family that you would bring the perfect job into their lives. You have a plan Lord and I ask that you guide this man to the right place at the right time Amen. Give them peace also so that they put their trust in you in Jesus name I pray Amen.
 
I would like to ask for you to pray for my mom. I just got back from the hospital, to see how she is doing. She went into the emergency room today at 3 pm, she is still there now. Two days ago she had a "female surgery" to remove a pulip (dont know if I spelled that right) well anyways last night she only slept an hour. She said she just couldn't sleep. And all today she was having really bad stomach pains. She called the doctor, and she told her to go to er. Well they are checking her out now. I think she is just overtired, stressed out, etc. I don't think its anything really bad. She has been worrying about grading papers, "cause she is a teacher, and has lots to do" and every year she does a thanksgiving drive, for the students in the school who are needy and wont have a turkey, she brings turkey dinners to thier houses. So shes been stressing about that too. It's not good if she is sick because lots of people depend on her. Kailey my 4 year old went with me to see my mom. Kailey thought it was really funny that grandma was wearing a "funny dress" and that she could see "grandmas underwear" when she stood up. :laughing:
 
tiff I hope your mom is better today.

Lord I pray for strength for this mom to be able to do the work you have called her to do. I know you will bless her for being a blessing Amen.
 
My mother-in-law was in a car wreck yesterday morning. I got the call early and had Ashelyn here because she was sick with a sinus infection. I took her down to Dad's and got to the hospital to find my MIL in the ER straped to back board, hooked up to IV's, and on oxygen. It scared me to death. She had been bleeding from her mouth and I could tell that she had been crying, but at least she was awake.

It took us hours at the hospital to get her ex-rayed, looked at by the doctors, and yes, finally ~ released!!! Bless her heart ~ she is so sore. I took her home and me and my other sil, Tammy went and got her medicine and bought us all dinner.

If you will just pray for her and my father in law. Her car is a total loss. They are living on a disablility check and it is going to be hard for them to make a car payment. I just hope that she doesn't have long-term pain. But on the bright side, we can replace the car, but not her :sunny:
 
I will lift her and her husband up in prayer and also you and your SIL because you were there to help out. Yes you can replace a car.

Lord I pray for a speedy recovery and ask for peace of mind for this family and thank you for being in control Amen.
 
My brother died last night. He was diagnoised with cancer in September. He went down hill so fast. It's hard to believe that he's gone. He's in a better place, I know, but I wish he was still here :cry: :cry: :cry:
 
I am so sorry to hear about your loss and I pray the healing process begins for all of your family.

My prayers are with you and I hope you have a place to go to get confort. Let the Lord wrap his arms around you.

My grandfather died on Monday morning. He lived in Texas but was in a Vet's home in Shreveport LA. He had Alzheimers so I am glad his suffering is over but I wish I could be there for his funeral...My mom is leaving early this morning as the funeral is on Wednesday. I could have went with but I have a very important meeting on Saturday ...it is a matter of grave importance to me and if everything turns out ok I will explain it hear on Sunday...But Please say a prayer for my family in this time of loss and also say prayers that my mom makes it from ND to TX safely(as we are supposed to have almost -60 windchills on Tues.) and Please say a prayer that everything goes ok on Saturday for me and my daughter...I have been about 5 minutes away from a nervous breakdown since Friday and your prayers would be deeply appreciated!

Lord I pray that there will be a safe trip for this mom traveling to the funeral. I know we miss our loved ones when they are gone but being Christian we take confort in knowing we will see them again. I also pray that whatever is happening on Saturday will be a blessing from you. You hear our prayers Lord and you supply all our needs in Jesus name I pray Amen
 
There was a huge explosion at our local refinery, which employees hundreds of people. The explosion could be felt for up to 60 miles away. At the current time we don't know the extent of the injuries. Currently we are only aware of one person being care-flighted to Lubbock burn unit. About 3/4 of the refinery is currently on fire. They are unsure of the toxicity of the smoke at the current time.

I thank the Lord that many of the employees were off for President's Day.

Please keep employees and families in your prayer during this time. Thank you!
 
I am praying that there won't be any casualties. These plants are so dangerous I live in Houston and we have had our share of plant explosions. God bless and keep us informed. :love:
