Random Time Generated

Do you guys think it is set to win on the second, minuet, or hour?

Has anyone discovered a winning time pattern yet.

Should we start posting the winning time of the contest when we post our wins, maybe that could create an advantage.

Awhile back, people were posting the time they won in the comments, specifically to see if there was a pattern - but since not all sweepers sweep at SA, and not all winners post, it didn't really show one.

Besides, if people did figure it out and shared it, they'd stop doing it don't you think?

I've found that changing up when/what order I enter in works for me. That's actually easy for me because my DH works a rotating shift {7 on then 1 1/2, 2, or 4 days off depending on which shift - days/eves/mids} so my sleep schedule changes each week, as does when I enter.

Long ago, I found taking my focus off me not winning on IW's by answering questions/putting together threads that walk people through the ins and outs of sweeping {that took me months to learn} helped me shake off the negativity and put things into perspective.

Some months back, I started being consistent on voting for SA members, and I ended up winning from an {unrelated} daily with a weekly prize!

Usually I'll post my win time if the sweeps offer multiple prizes during a 24 hr period. If the sweeps offer 12 prizes a day and it averages to 1 prize every 2 hrs, then I might wait 2hrs before I enter if someone posted a win and the time won. I know that the random time thingy figures into this and just because the average is a prize every 2 hrs, that doesnt mean that theres not 2 random times in a 2 hr period or possibly no random time during that 2 hr period. I've looked for a method to the madness but havent found it, so if you find one Griff, clue us in!

I would guess that time is generated to the minute like 5:01. I honestly dont think there is a pattern.

I have won instant wins early in the morning, late at night and in the middle of the day.

Like Amy, I feel like I win more from instants when I play at different times, rather than playing the same time every single day.

Some sweeps are to the second, like this one: http://www.kelloggsraisinbran.com/Promotions.aspx Others are to the minute.

If the rules state random, but not daily winners, then it's possible for there to be (multiple) skip days. It's also possible to have days when there are multiple winners. The closed sweep "Open My Safe" had days with multiple winners. There were also days with no winners.

...Maybe on some, the time you login determines if you will win, and it only looks like you are playing multiple times (spinning a wheel, matching cards, or whatever).

Maybe on others, the time you play (each spin, match, whatever) determines if you win.

I usually keep the page open and play other Instant Wins, then return a short time later to try again. The reason I do that is because I noticed that on some games, if you close the page, you lose your additional turns, and I don't want to take a chance on that happening. I don't recall winning on this type of Instant, so I don't know if my method works! In general, I don't win a great many Instants, no matter how they are set up.

I hope this helps, but like I said, I don't know for sure.
