Rewards Alert-foxnews.com - Scam/phishing?

Hello,

Would anyone know if this email is a scam? I am suspicious because it did not come to the emails I use to enter sweeps. The subject says Rewards Alert and when I go in to read it through Properties (so I don't open it), it looks like it is from foxnews.com but there is no body in the email to read. Do not remember any sweeps for them but you never know.

I guessing it is phony especially after reading what I wrote but you never know. Oh, I also googled but could not find any information.

Thank you.

I get junk like that also, and i also read them via properties. They're usually garbled, but you can pick out some meaning if you read them line by line carefully.

Frequently they're from Canadian Pharmacies or other retailers hyping their sites.

venice- looks like you already know it's a scam/phishing attempt:

Hi

I believed it was a scam but then I've read posts where people checked a possible odd email and turned out they won something. I guess it is that hope we sweepers have with "winning" emails. I did open it and found it to be credit card offers.

Thank you both for your responses.
