Robo Form vs Robo Form Pro

What is the difference between the free version and Robo Pro, and is it worth the price, does the pro version make sweeping faster ? I notice that the free version sometimes puts things in the wrong box, like sometimes it will spread a ph. number over 2 or three boxes when it only goes in one, or it will enter it in the wrong format. (ie. 5555555555 or 555-555-5555). Sometimes it will enter the no dash, when it should have dashes, and sometimes it will be dashes when the box calls for no dash. Will Pro alleviate this problem ?

If you are actually using the free version of roboform I am surprised you don't know the difference by now.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCES:

  • [li]YOU ARE $30.00 POORER.[/li]
[li]YOU CAN NOW HAVE UNLIMITED DATA STORAGE/USAGE (MORE THAN 10 PASSCARDS, etc).[/li]

It won't make you faster, smarter, or able to leap tall buildings in a single bound...

BUT: you will be able to have an individual passcard specifically designed for each sweep you enter on a daily basis, which will make your life easier! (I currently have about 150 passcards I use on a daily basis for email accounts, contests, and password protected sites.) OH ... yes, it is worth the price!

Have fun ... and watch out for those dashes! :crazytongue:

LOREN, OK I get it, but I don't need more passwords because I use the same for all, so if all Pro does is enable more passwords, then I can save the money and use the free version.

PS I just jumped over a big building in a single bound. Still I see no reason to get Pro

:booty"

good thing i didn't do a pic of my butt, eh?

,,, it does other things too, but since it is med time I won't bother ya with it.

Pro does not give you more passwords to use, it gives you more passcards to use, that is the pages that are already filled out and submit themself with out you pushing the fill button, nice but if you have to fill out a code or verification code it does not work

Get the coupon for rf which is usually 9.00 off. search it ,I got one from pc world magzine. so try not pay the full price. It is great and support not bad either.

firefox has its own add on for free to fill forms. not sure name of it. google toolbar has free one too. but for life of product updates price not bad if doing alot of sweeps.

good luck and happy new yr..

I had free RF for about 2 months when I first started sweepstakes... I went to RF Pro because I wanted to save more passcards than just the 10 allowed with the free RF. Also, I only had to pay 23.00 as there was a discount at the time. I LOVE the RF Pro and the reason is the amount of passcards. I really like the fact that if I am entering a sweep that asks the same questions over and over, like Lane Furniture or Bassett, I only fill the form out once, save it and the next time I just hit their name on the RF toolbar and zap.... Also when filling out the ELLE pages of prizes, does anyone else hate UNCLICKING the 2 to 4 things at the bottom... ? RF helps with that too. I found one prize that had the most questions at the bottom, unclicked them, saved that page and now when I do ELLE, even if the prize comes from a different site, I click ELLE on the RF Toolbar and it will pop up that it doesn't match and asks if I want RF to fill out the form anyway, which I answer yes to.... RoboForm isn't perfect but it has helped me stay with the sweeps, since I haven't won anything much yet in the 3 months of sweeping... If I was doing it all by hand, I would have probably given up. Someone also mentions that RF puts things in the wrong places sometimes, but I talked to my son who is computer savvey, and he said that it probably is the website itself that has programmed it that way, kinda like sabotage... Like some sweeps use the flash forms that RF doesn't recognize. One was programmed so that RF put my last name in the first name box, and visa versa, left out my address, put my email in the phone number slot, so I did it all by hand, saved to RF and the next time it filled it out correctly.... Hope this helps some.

Roboform Pro is far better than the free version if you are using Roboform the way it was meant to be used. Most people using Roboform do not know how to utilize it to its fullest.

It is not just a form filler that you click on your name's identity to fill out forms. Once a sweepstakes form is filled out correctly, you save it as a passcard. So, the next time you click on that passcard, it will go to the sweepstakes page, fill out the form the way it was saved, and submit it through with the exception of a few and flash forms.

Once you are using Roboform Pro correctly, you will be amazed at how many more sweepstakes you can enter in the same amount of time.

Go Pro. It's worth the investment. Also buy Robo to Go. I can't recommend that enough. It saved me when my computer crashed. I had backed up my thumb drive and just loaded it onto my new computer. In 2 minutes I was back in business.

Good luck!

You can also back up the folder with your passcards without Robo To Go or the sync feature. I've done it when i reloaded my computer with Windows 7. I just installed roboform and then put the backed up pascards in the correct folder and it worked. Saved me the money!

I love Robo2Go for when we go on vacation. I don't enter my daily's, weekly's, monthly's, etc., while we are away; but I can go through the newly posted sweepstakes while away and add the new ones and delete the expired ones. When we get back home, I can transfer the up-to-date passcard list to my regular Roboform Pro on the computer and override and replace the old list from when we left for vacation. It doesn't take much time each day or two and saves me days of catching up on everything when we get back.

Took me 1 year to figure out Roboform is better than manual LOL in my second year I am still unable to do the 10 free ones you can do. I just use the form filler that way I don't do as many but it sure beats manual typing but I needed the practice anyways for I had lost my typing skills. Hence "This Post" Slow learner here but shucks life goes on and never stop learning and trying.
