Rolling out Secure Site ( SSL ) for SA and Plus

Hello Members, With security being a growing concern for all websites we have decided to start rolling out changes to make SA and Plus more secure. We have already started with SA today. You should start seeing the "secure" lock icon in the address bar for Chrome and other web browsers. ( Ironically VBulltein the maker of the forum software isn't that compatible with SSL but we are actively working to fix the issue with the forum ) You should clearly see the lock icon for most of the other areas of the site. We are still rolling this out but just wanted to give everyone some notice. Sweepstakes Plus SSL will be rolled out within the next week if everything goes well with the Sweepstakes Advantage roll out. Thank you!

Most of the SA and Plus sites have now been migrated to SSL ( secure ). You should log out and log back in to create a new cookie if you experience any problems. Thank you
 
I am having issues posting the small screen shot .jpg files with my posts.

"The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party.
Are you sure you want to send this information?"

I have logged out and back in.

tested this to be OK when I clear cookies and temp internet files. Then log back in. Sounds like you are caching old non-ssl. :)</p>

This SSL switch should be completed now. This should make SA and Plus more secure. :)
 
I am still having issues posting images with wins. And I have noticed that there are hardly any images of peoples wins over the past month. Any suggestions to help me with this issue?
 
What web browser are you using? Did you log out from the link in the forum and log back in? You may still have a non-ssl forum cookie.
 
I have used Safari, Firefox and Chrome and as a Plus member I get the security warning. I have screenshots of all 3 browsers. - However today I logged in to Sweepstakes Advantage as a regular member and was allowed to see the updated layout and I was able to upload and post my images.

- - So as a work around for now I will have to log out of Sweepstakes Plus and Log into Advantage to post my wins.
 
Actually, this is not due to the SSL security upgrade. Somehow your forum profile was changed. Can you try again? Thank you!
