46,333 . The way I look at this is it won't just stop at soda and sugary drinks. It will affect everyone. We will all have our taxes raised in one way or another. The rich aren't the ones who are only going to be taxed.

Couple years ago the car lots were booming where I live in Florida. Now they are nothing but parking lots. There is one place in town, its kind of a crossroads. There was a big dealership on each corner. Now they are all deserted.

I hope things get better. Can't get much worse.

We've noticed that the parks aren't as crowded as they used to be, and hotels aren't booking up as much anymore. Then there was the sudden sale of and closing of Dixie Stampede; and, as far as I can see, the building is still just sitting there, and they haven't found another location to reopen. Then the people who owned the building that the Race Rock restaurant was in didn't renew the lease and now that building just sits there. Bad times and very bad decisions.

I heard a story about the Dixie Stampede that they just locked the doors one day and told people they lost their jobs. The story was that Dolly found another location for it. Seemed like kind of a bad moral decision to just lock people out with no warning. :nono:

From what I heard, someone offered them a lot of money for the property. As soon as they sealed the deal, they immediately shut down. The employees were told when they arrived for work and were told to clean out their personal belongings. They had a proposed deal to rebuild and reopen at some mall. I'm not sure which one. Maybe, the new one up on International Drive. :scratch: Apparently, that fell through. So, just more empty buildings and less jobs. I was real bummed to find that the "Carving Station" restaurants were closed down for back taxes. :cry:

That's too funny which reminded of a time when you could go into a gas station and put air in your tires for free!

I also remember when they tried pay toilets, but that turned into a disaster! :whistle:
