So, I won the Grand Prize in the Skinny Cow sweeps, a trip to L.A., chance to meet Jennifer Grey and a check for $500.00. I had to decline because i had a bad experience flying one time and I will never do it again, I didn't want to leave my baby for 3 days and hubby couldn't get the time off of work. I spoke to a rep at the company and they are not offering me anything else. It's either the whole trip or nothing, so I chose nothing. She was really snotty to me also when I asked if I could have something else, I mean come on not even a coupon. I am still happy I won though because now I know first hand the big wins are possible and it makes me want to enter sweeps even more, when I hit that dreaded dry spell I will remember I am a winner and keep going. Good Luck all, that big win will come when you least expect it :)
 
:wave: Aw, that's too bad that you weren't able to except the prize. Most rules do state that no alternative prize will be offered, but every once in a while you will find one that will offer an alternative prize. Hopefully, that was one where they pick another winner as many do not, so the prize is never awarded. Wishing you the best of luck that the prize of your dreams will soon find it's way to your doorstep.

I must have looked at this one numerous times {whenever I saw an IW win post :crazytongue: } and wondered why I wasn't playing it - then I'd remember - GP was a trip, no $$$ in lieu {I always use LIEU in find to check the rules :whistle: } and the IW prizes weren't my cup of tea :laughing:

As everyone knows I won a trip to L.A. from Skinny Cow and had to turn it down. Today Fed-Ex brought me more paperwork from Skinny Cow, they couldn't find an alternative winner so they are sending me a check for $5,000. I have to go get my paperwork notorized and then they will send my check. I am so excited I almost fell over when I read the letter. Thanks SA and Skinny Cow :headbang:
