Solve Media captchas

Am I the only person that has been getting totally unreadable captchas from Solve Media for the last seven days. There are many sweeps I can not enter because of this garbage they are putting out. Is there anything I can do to get them to go back to stuff I can read and/or hear?

Did you read:

Last year I posted about a shortcut for entering the company ReCaptcha's captchas - they're always 2 terms, and you only had to find the
wavy, italicized or otherwise distinguished term and enter that one, and you also could leave off the last character.

Well, today it changed - after further testing I found that you have to enter the entire term AND the first character of the second term. I do not know
if this is temporary or permanent but it's been true on every single sweepstake form where ReCaptcha appears that I filled out today.

Also, here's a tip: if the distinguished term appears second, you'll have to enter the entire first term as well, so keep refreshing until the distinguished term appears first, ensuring you only have to enter that and the first character of the second term (which is often numbers or garbage).

The other {stickied in the Tech/Computer Help forum} threads on captchas:

I think is what you need:

I thought I would share another 2 tips I've discoved while entering captchas on the various Meredith Corporation magazine sweepstake
forms - this was my first topic:

http://www.sweepstakesplus.com/smf/...your-typing-captchas-by-over-50-t76993.0.html

And here are the various magazines my tip will work for, and all others that look similar (you know it when you see them - you have to click on Play to see the captcha):

Tip #1: don't bother entering the last 2 characters in ANY of the captchas you see. For example, I entered "RA" instead of "RAV4" and it worked. I tried leaving the last 3 off but it didn't accept it, so 2's the limit. UPDATE: a few don't like this, instead you can leave off just the last character for those.

Tip #2: When the dreaded "Play" button pops up and you have to click it to find out what the captcha is, there are 2 types: it will either display the captcha immediately or a short commercial will run that will delay displaying the captcha. The tip: for commercials, if you recognize the commercial from its screen and you already know the captcha, you can enter it immediately without having to play the commercial. For example, Toyota's commercial for the Prius is obvious, so just enter the minimum necessary immediately and you'll save time ("toyotapriu").

That's it - not complicated, but if you're entering multiple Meredith sweeps every day all year long, it adds up and besides, it feels good to outsmart 'em a little bit - GL
