Songs that make you cry

It really depends on my mood, sometimes I get really emotional for some reason.

Fly-Celine Dion because, it was played at my daughters funeral
My last breath-Evenescence
You're gonna miss this-Trace adkins
What hurts the most-Rascal flatts

This song especially-
Angels in heaven-Higher Faith

It all happened so fast
Everything was a blur
And everyone came by
To say how sorry they were

I knew they meant well
So I tried hard to force a smile
and they said I should be
thankful that I had them for awhile

But now my friends and my family's
gone home and I'm just left here
sitting with my memories all alone

I've always heard that God does
everything right I just wish
myAngels weren't in Heaven tonight

I know there are some things beyond
my control, there are some things
only God can decide

oh but that won't stop this hurting
that I feel in my soul
I just wish my Angels weren't
in Heaven tonight

Please God will you please kiss
my Angels goodnight

This is just to name a few.

LDS is going to have a field day with me

Broken by Shaun Morgan(Seether) & Amy Lee. The really sad part is that they were a couple whose love went sour  And then Amy Lee came out with Call Me When You're Sober  THAT was sad because we all knew it was about Shaun. *sigh*

Life Fades Away by Roy Orbison (Less than Zero soundtrack)

sometimes, Angel by Judas Priest

Underneath the Bridge by Nirvana

Indifference by Pearl Jam

My daughter would like to add:

Tears from Heaven by Eric Clapton

Angel by Sarah MacLaughlan, played at her dad's funeral.

Mama : Artist-Beth Hart

Leave the light on : Artist-Beth Hart

Damaged : Soundtrack-Brokedown Palace

Sylum : Soundtrack-Brokedown Palace

Munich : Sountrack-Munich

I Love you: Artist-Sarah Mcgloghlin (sp???)

Huh? My ears were just ringing!

OMG ~ I could fill up this whole page because I am a sap!

First of all there is this little song on Ashelyn's DS Catz game yes, a stinking video game that brings me to tears everytime. Something about a kitty barely fitting it's mittens ~ it is so stupid, but I tear up everytime I hear that stupid song! It KILLS me!

Then there are a couple of songs that we played at Momma's funeral, but 'Go Rest High' by Vince Gill is the only one that still upsets me most of the time. The others usually bring me a type of peace.

There is a song by Rascal Flatts called 'Better Now' that brings me to tears every time I hear it.

The song 'Another Time, Another Place' by Sandi Patti is another one that also does, along with 'Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)'.

Depending on my mood 'Hello' by Lionel Ritchie can get me along with 'You're the Inspiration' by Chicago.

Oh my gosh...there is so many more...I need to get my ipod...lol!

Trace, how could I have forgot about that one

Tammy, Go Rest High was played @ granny's funeral too. I'm by no means a country fan or a Vince Gill fan but that is one beautiful song!

Another one, Only God Knows Why by Kid Rock. Oh, and Picture by him and Sheryl Crow. Anything that has to do with losing yourself or a love makes me blubber.

OK, LDS, lemme have it!

Got a few of those but that first that comes to mind is "Time in a Bottle". And the worst of it is, I blame the Muppet Show for that. There was a sketch they did to the song that featured a scientist that took a youth potion that turned him old by accident and he couldn't turn back again. As a kid, it really upset me.

Maybe I should post this in the "weird stuff" thread instead...

STFU  You can't be that stoic :booty"

How about Don't know whatcha got til it's gone by Cinderella or Every rose has its thorn by Poison. There must be something(song) that makes Mrs. Ole Ball N' Chain weepy.

Nope, music doesn't make me cry. Not even when we saw "Man ho" do "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" a couple of weeks ago.

Only certain movies will make me cry happy tears at the end like "It's A Wonderful Life".

So, is he just as good at singing as he was when he first sang that song? His personality and behavior make me weep and shudder but I'd like to believe he can still sing. He used to be so cool

And I cry like that before, during, and after watching The Notebook. Feel free to forget I said that

They're still as good as they ever were, but we're now second thinking ever seeing them again. We bring our children to all the concerts and protect their ears. Well, it might start being a trend with some of these bands for showing nudity on a large screen. We first encountered that the last time we saw Motley Crue. We hustled our daughter out and a bunch of other parents hustled their kids out. Well, lo and behold, now Poison started doing it. If they're going to start doing this nude stuff, they need to put warnings on their ticket sales. I rather not have any surprises especially at what these tickets cost nowadays.

Regardless, Dokken blew them away! :headbang:

Dokken used to be my absolute favorite band. They were my first concert too.I took alot of flak from the Crue and Metallica heads at school but I didn't care. George Lynch is a god!

Personally I don't have any 'make me weep songs', but I had a friend who would bawl her eyes out every time she heard The Rose by Bette Midler http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=3813805

Yeah, I don't blame you for being pissed. I'd want to know ahead of time too. Is it various women and their various private parts or full on porn? Either way it's inappropriate not to warn the parents but may make me more interested in going to a concert
