Strange things can happen to your wins before they make it to you

 After you have been sweeping for awhile you learn that sometimes the winning is just the beginning of the story.I thought I would start a thread on some of the stories on strange arrivals of prizes. You know the gift card that came with someone else name on it ,the package the neighbor's dog took home with him.

One day I came home from work to find a missed shipment notice from UPS on my door.Since I was off the next day I did not worry to much.
The next day I hear the unmistakable sound of an UPS truck. I head outside to meet him. Several minutes pass before the driver appears out of the truck with a clipboard but no package.

The driver says "I know I am suppose to have a package for you but I can't find it. Did you by any chance pick it up already? " After i tell him no he goes back into his truck to look one more time.

Just as he admits defeat another UPS truck comes around the curve. This driver steps out and yells "Good Joseph your here . This package should have been put on your truck not mine."

That is my story of the win that was so big it took two UPS trucks to bring it.

 Great story Bruce!
When I first started online sweeping I received a notice that I had won a mini stepper exerciser. I was happy and waited for the prize to arrive. It was a nice summer day and I was outside when a big tractor trailer pulled up in front of my house. The driver gets out and asks if I am Pam and I say yes. He tells me he has a prize for me from whoever the sponsor was I told him that he could just hand it to me and save himself a few steps. He looked at me kinda funny and said, "I don't think so, I can't even carry most of it!" I said to him, "It's just a mini stepper exerciser, isn't it?" He says "Heck no, it's a complete home gym system that takes up an 8 x 12 space!" I was totally surprised. Lluckily he had a dolly that he used to haul all the heavy boxes into my garage. From the pics I knew I didn't have room for it, besides I no longer had room to park my car in the garage! My brother soon found out and said it was the same as what they had in the local high school wrestling room and that he would buy it from me. He gave me $500 to take it off my hands! Gotta love those kind of mix ups!
