Amy here - 6/1/15 update {a new thread which I merged with this thread}

only won $50 in ahs iw, instead of $10,000, even though the response for the iw was

something seems wrong about this, they are a legitimate company, but i would be amazed if it was an actual win, i tried to bookmark the winning page but iw would not, has anybody elas won the $10,000 grand prize? i would bet i will get a phone call trying to sell me ahs, but i could be wrong. although i doubt it

Have been playing the IW for this one every day and am sure it is legit. Did you get a winning email? Usually they call you with that big of prize so sure hope you are the big winner! Congrats!
 
Just read rules....it says GP winner will be selected on Aug. 3 in a random draw of all entries. Are you sure you were not reading the "you didn't win but are entered into the GP $10,000 drawing" screen that pops up after you played?
 
no it said" congratulations you are the grand prize winner of $10,000

they then wanted all my info and said i will be contacted within 48 hours, however on the win they were trying to sell me ahs insurance at $2 per day, if i remeber correctly the $10,000 is listed in the instant win, however there is something strange about this, and i do not believe i won any thing, so i will not be disappointed when i find out it was some kind of scheme to sell ahs, however i will be very mad if that is the scheme

It just started on 5-25-15. There's a bunch of daily and weekly prizes, but, per the rules, the $10,000 won't be awarded until 8-3-15.
 
IT very well could be legit and for your sake, I wish it so for you. Believe it or not, it is not unusual. I once won $25,000 from a sweepstakes and was notified though an email that I almost deleted as it was rather nondescript. I've said it before on other posts, but I've been called for a $50 or $100 win and emailed for a $25,000 win. Go figure!??? It all depends on the promotional company handling the sweepstakes and or the size of the company as some companies have their internal marketing departments handle giveaways. May you be blessed with this BIG cash win and many more. Follow up on it!

Most IW sweeps will use boiler plate rules to say the game is for entertainment purposes only, so until/unless you get a winning email, you can't count on a winning - or even a losing screen!
