I'm new so maybe you all have already figured a way around this. If so I'd like to know. Otherwise I'll have to stop entering the Good Housekeeping Sweepstakes. The first time I entered a Good Housekeeping Sweepstake I got an email thanking me for ordering a subscription. I honestly thought I had done it by accident so I started being much more careful and reading everything before clicking on Enter or Submit. But today I got another email thanking me for ANOTHER subscription. I went to their web sit and cancelled it but I'm not really sure the cancellation will "take". I view this as unethical at best. They have a lot of good stuff and I enjoy their recipes, tips, etc. but I'll stop going to their website at all if they have traps planted all over it!:(

Good Houskeeping is fine. I have won from them and other people have also. You do have to slow down and look for the place where it says something like ~ to enter without subscribing, click here ~ which brings up another entry form for people who don't want to subscribe (or are already subscribed).

This is similar for other magazine sweeps. It may take a while to get used to but you can train yourself to look for the Click Here. It is often next to the small picture of the magazine cover on the entry form.

I have inadvertently ordered magazines a number of times. It is easy to cancel online and for me, it always worked. Occasionally you receive one issue anyway. If you do end up getting an invoice, just write, "Cancel" and mail it back.
