Sweepstakes Plus Alerts Upgraded

We made a change to Sweepstakes Alerts to allow up to 5 alerts per Plus subscriber. Watch the attached video for details.

Why only 5? Is this a costly feature? 5 isn't very many. I can easily make a list of 25+ and would love too.

We went from 1 to 5. It does cost us to send emails. We need to be careful because these emails ( if too many ) could be misinterpreted as spam.

Yeah If it's costly that's understandable. If it's about spamming members then perhaps just send one email a day with all the alerts combined. Fyi, I'm new here so I'm just figuring this all out myself. Maybe 5 is all I really need.

Currently the system is setup to fire out an email whenever it finds an update for your list. So it could possible send 2 emails for every one depending on what it finds. That would be 10 emails a day. The change you mention would require a code change. It's interesting though. We'll consider it.
