What do you put when a sweep ask why do you want this or why should we give this to you? I would put because I want it. That wasnt working so now if it is for a dvd, which most of them that ask that are, I put a movie quote in. usually from that paticular movie. That hasnt worked either :smt003 Do you think they actually read that or is just another verification thing.

I always wondered the same thing!! I have no idea...thats why I don't usually enter those, because I have no idea what they are looking for!! Maybe someone will have the answer for us!

I just won some Cd's from Dee Snyder's House of Hair - on the entry form was the question "why do you need to win this" - I put in "Because I am a huge music freak! I was the lead singer and bass player in an all girl heavy metal band in the 80's, but I also listen to country, classical, jazz, blues, opera, rap and any other music I can find!"
I guess that was they were looking for, as I was the grand prize winner (19 runner ups)
I am hoping my answer for the Music Trip giveaway at the same website, will be what they are looking for as well (Different answer, with the same points).

But I know what you are saying, I always feel like I am "begging" when I answer those movie "Why do you need to win this" questions.

I don't know what to write when they ask that question. I imagine most people want to win it, simply because they would like to have it themselves or give it to someone that they think would like it. I don't think I ever have some "earth-shattering" reason.
