I won the Zotac trip to Hong Kong, including airfare, four nights accommodations, and entry into the CSGO grand finals tournament. I love CSGO, I play it every day so this trip would have been perfect for me!..... except.... I can't take it as it is during the first week of my Ph.D program. I cannot opt for cash or transfer the prize so I had to forfeit. :( Hopefully the next person they offer the trip to can redeem and enjoy it as much as I would have!
 
That's the spirit! Perhaps you were awarded the prize just to make that decision indicating what is truly important to you at this time. Congrats on a great win! And, by letting it go for another to enjoy, more will come your way!

Wow, that's such bad luck on the timing! Hopefully the next person will enjoy the trip and there are lots more great prizes coming up for you. Good luck with the Ph.d

Congratulations on the win and on working for that PhD - sorry the timing was off but I'm sure there are more big wins coming your way.
