Two Prizes and a Hang-Up Call

Good morning all you beautiful SA members. :wave: Yesterday, I received a "Congratulations letter from Centra Marketing" with a $20 Sears GC :headbang: and I also received a rolled-up cardboard container sent from "SkinIt" . :headbang: I assume it contains the skin for my grandson's laptop that we ordered from my Orbit gum win. I'm waiting to give it to my grandson but I am curious and would love to open it. He'll be here today so I'll let him do the honors. Also, this morning at 8:00 am I got a call from a man who sounded like a 30 something year old business-type guy who asked for me by name and he said he was from a company that sounded like "AnnaRay" and when I said "how can I help you" he hung up the phone. :cry: I had entered the "DIY Urban Oasis Sweepstakes" daily and this weekend they are supposed to notify the winner. Now I'm wondering if my voice turned him off to me living in an urban oasis apartment in Manhattan so he hung up on me and called the next person in line. Well, I'd take the alternative prize of the cash instead of the apartment anyway. I wish I knew who that man was who called this morning. :scratch: Oh well, hubby says it was not the Sweepstakes people notifying me. Have a great day SA people! :sunny:

:sunny: Congratulations on your wins! I wouldn't worry too much about the phone call. Anyone calling with notification of a legit sweep win, would not have just hung up.
 
Hi, pmeek :wave: I greatly appreciate you responding to my post. :sunny: I couldn't sleep at all last night for thinking I had won the Urban Oasis but my voice was not acceptable to the guy who called (until I took 2 Tylenols and fell off to lala land :sleepy: (haha). Anyway, your expertise on this sweeps site is greatly appreciated. We're on this site to help our fellow SA sweepers. SA ROCKS! :headbang: BTW, I voted today for SA to be the number one SWEEPS SITE IN THE WORLD! Have a great day. :sunny:
 
If you have caller ID, you can go to Google and put in the phone number. It will tell you where it came from and I have found it to be very useful in weeding out scam calls and real calls. Hope that helps some! Happy Sweeping and have a wondeful day :sunny:
