Update - Bookmarks and other info

Hello SA Members,

Yesterday we added a new button to almost every page on SA. The option is called "Bookmark" .
This is not your everyday bookmark. This option will allow you to Easily Bookmark and Share pages with others.
There are several community bookmarking services, email and many others ways to bookmark pages.

I personally use the Yahoo bookmarks because I can retrieve them from any computer. Just click the Bookmark button select Yahoo and you will automatically be transferred to Yahoo Books marks with the page title pre-filled.

The bookmark button will be at the top of the posts pages and at the bottom of each page for the sweepstakes directory pages.

Now on to another subject. The cost to maintain and send email newsletters has grown dramatically. SA is committed to sending a daily newsletter but we had to adopt a new policy. If you mark our newsletter as spam
in any if the webmail services like hotmail, yahoo mail or gmail that email address will be excluded from the newsletter indefinitely. We have to do this whether it was an accident or not because if we continue to send the newsletter to you after marking it as spam we might be blocked from sending email to these webmail services all together. We hope you understand this new policy.

We are also curious as to how everyone likes the new sections of SA, Horoscope, Recipe, Lottery, Celebrity?

I have yet to check them out, but I will try to soon - I'll also unsubscribe, since I'm here almost everyday anyway!!! :)
 
I also love the new sections thanks, I also unsubscribed since I am here every day and don't want to accidentally hit the spam on the SA newsletter.

I unsubscribed.. :laughing: im here all the time anyway.. Thanks again for all that you do to keep this FREE site running so smoothly for all of us.
 
Just to explain a little better about the newsletter:

The newsletter has sponsors as well to help pay for it (keep it free). But for people who get the newsletter and never read it or click the sponsors it does not help pay for it. Because it is considered bulk email we get charged for every message we send whether it is read or not.

On top of this, some people who sign up for it mark it as spam rather than click the unsubscribe link.

When this happens we pay for the delivery of the message and get a bad emailer grade from Yahoo that can eventually prevent any yahoo subscribers from getting the newsletter.

Maybe this will make the situation a little clearer. :)
 
I will still hit on sponsors to support SA, just do it when I am here in the section that list sponsors.
